Playing as Celtic: PES 2020 or FIFA 20?

As the title says. Looking to pick up a PS4 soon, wondering which game to buy. Cheers in advance folks

 

Efootball PES 2020 hands down, it has fully licensed SPFL and you can also buy a mod kit for the PS4. Fifa is done for me and I’m a lot calmer not playing it tbh.

 

Cheers mate. I've never played PES, but it having the license, apparently better gameplay etc interests me. What's the manager/career mode like compared to Fifa?

 

It’s different but better imo, the Fifa career mode has stagnated badly tbh.

 

Got to agree with @Gyp Rosetti fifa career mode has stagnated badly. They have abandoned it. I was a day one guy fifa every year took the Friday off work to play it.

now we had to wait on PES last year for the Celtic stuff and yet again it was a few days after release before we got the updates, but this year after a few days was great the game play is unreal on pes and FIFA has stagnated badly.

I feel it’s arcadey in its feel where pes feels flowing like football match. The graphics are unreal and if you are buying a PS4 as gyp said you can get the file for the real teams.

If you want to get Fifa but a PS4 with a fifa bundle mate it’s £199 the now and get pes for £30 closer to Christmas.

But if I was you I would get the £199 call of duty PS4 bundle and buy pes and patch fifa!

 

PES 100%. Even though I suck at both PES and Fifa, PES is so much more satisfying to play. Shame you can't create your own custom manager in career mode though, but Cruijff managing Celtic is pretty great too.

 

PES all the way, especially if you want to go the Hoops.

 

Agree with everyone PES, had both up until late 00's and then only had Fifa until last year but PES without a doubt

On career mode only really buy players with real faces ,

have gave Julien(some CB at west ham), Bauer(tom davies), El Hamed(benatia) , Taylor( simone verdi) , Boli Boli(onekryu Nigerian winger) , Shved(Ukrainian dm think its stepenakov??) , Bayo (Zaha)and Johnston(argentina rb Saravia) other players faces (like Face-Off lol) to make it seem more realistic will need to find a Frimpong now

I got it bundled with the PS4 I bought, straight into CEX for £30 back.

 

That’s decent cash back gyp. Aye it’s brutal feels arcadey and very dated

 

PES 2020: The Hoist it Forward Edition

 

Both games are horrible, every year I get sucked in though. PES is better for Celtic, FIFA version of Scott Brown and Griff are just ridiculous.

PES I think has better gameplay, obviously the drawback for some is that it doesn't have all the official team names.

 

Why isn't there a Celtic DLC for Celtic on PES? There are for Juve, Arsenal, Barca etc.
Thought we were an official partner club.
