"Come and See". Quite disturbing when you see the physical change in the wee boys face towards the end of the film

Been looking to watch this recently.

Regarded as one of the greatest films ever made, the director never made another as he felt that he had achieved everything there was to achieve cinematcally with 'Come and See.'

When first shown in Belarusian cinemas, ambulances had to be called to take people away as a result of so many collapsing with shock.

Author Tim Lott has said that it 'makes Apocalypse Now look lightweight'.

An SS soldier who served in Belarus and Ukraine during the * occupation said this of the film:

"I will testify: everything that is told in this film is the truth. And the most frightening and shameful thing for me is that this film will be seen by my children and grandchildren"

Possibly my favourite war film is A Bridge Too Far.
