Finished Marion Zimmer Bradley's The Mists of Avalon. Historical fiction that follows on from The Forest House and Lady of Avalon and gets to the whole Arthurian period. Was ok but must admit nowhere near what I was hoping for.

Finished Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 a classic and really a must read and sadly quite topical today with so many authoritarian regime's around the world today including in the US where the novel is set.

Have to admit I had not heard of Lucky Luke before but that is probably because it is American and I grew up in Ireland.

Finished George RR Martin's Fevre Dream. It was written before he became big time with the Game Of Thrones series although this is a stand alone vampire novel rather then fantasy which he is know for. I liked it albeit not quite at the Anne Rice vampire novel level.

Finished Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Dart. My first time reading the author and I was impressed. I like fantasy books and this was very good I thought. If you like Game of Thrones then you will probably like this one too.

Finished Naomi Klein's This Changes Everything Capitalism v The Climate. Excellent in depth look at the climate crisis and how we need to push for serious structural change of our economies to solve the problem.

I lived in Japan in 2014 so I'm liking this bad boy. It's written very well and reads fast. It's probably only interesting for people interested in North Korea and Japan.

read that years ago, interesting in bits but I soon got tired of the author being right all the time, didn’t finish the last 80 or so pages, interesting portrayal of Bombay

Aye that’s true, I’m really enjoying it but the author does come across as a bit up himself. Apparently hardly any of the story is true. Looking forward to seeing it on film once it finally gets made.
