Im looking for some help solving this wee mystery, i moved house a while back and have this wee green box in my garden, has anyone come accross these before? and does anyone have any info on them or know if they are still in use? I had a quick google search and they seem pretty old.

I want to get rid of it if possible, ive attatched a picture of it.

    Cheers in advance.

It’s was probably capped off years ago. Get a ground scanner to check if any live services running into to. Should be easy enough to remove if it’s not live

Looks like a utilities box. Cable joint, telecoms etc. Going by the security key.

Lucy boxes are electrical cubicles. As suggested it might be out of service but you'd need to get a thermal imaging survey done to make sure.

Or you could open the box and test the terminals with a multi-meter.

    Here we go again
Have a BBQ with lots of beer. With folk pishing in the garden it should only be a matter of time before somebody * on it and you'll have your answer.

Have a freind on standby incase it turns out to be live, so you can invite him/her round to make the number back up to eight.
