I thought after the Zenit game at home arguably his best game for us he would get a run in the team. good to get him out the door and a few others to follow no doubt.

Seemed a good signing at the time, he was unlucky in that our midfield was very strong during his time here. Best for all concerned he moves on, surprised he stuck around so long. Injuries and a hefty wage packet no doubt played a part

Would be great to get a fee for him and get him off the payroll.
No point persisting with him, time for both parties to move on.

I was at the Zenit game and he was outstanding that night.

I think there is a player in there but he has been very unlucky with injuries and our midfield is pretty strong so it’s been difficult for him to get chances when he has been available.

Zenith and Hearts at home midweek were his 2 best game's by far..

Celtic have officially sold Eboue Kouassi, after just seven league starts in three years.

The midfielder was a £2.8million signing under Brendan Rodgers but he failed to make an impact after his move from Krasnodar.

Kouassi managed just 22 appearances in all competitions across four seasons, failing to score a single goal.

After failing to play a single game under Neil Lennon he joined Belgian side Genk on loan in January with an option to buy, and on Monday it was confirmed that option has been taken up.

Genk confirmed: "KRC Genk has activated the option to buy midfielder Eboue Kouassi, 22.

The Ivorian midfielder is taken outright from Celtic. Kouassi is now signed up until 2024.

Due to a minor injury and the corona crisis, he has only played in four games so far, but Kouassi was in the starting XI for three games and completed the 90 minutes in the last two.

He was able to convince everyone at the club of his qualities."

He was brilliant against Zenit and i really thought he'd kick on from there, hopefully he does good elsewhere.

Thought he was quite good to be honest, hope he carves a career out for himself. A mental signing considering we spent near 3 mil for him but decided never to play him. HH Brendan

Good luck to him. He is still young so still has a chance to push forward and achieve something.

    Good luck .

Still only 22, plenty of time for things to fall into place.

    All the best Kouassi :50:

Thought he looked decent in the short time we seen him on the park.

Looked like he was suited to our style of play too, energetic, good presser and good tackler.
