The male Blackbird is one of my favourite garden visitors CIDER. Stunning yellow beak and black feathers make this a truly handsome bird.
In other news, just seen Springwatch is back next week. I read it will be slightly different, but it will still be the BEST show on TV.

Didn't know that good friend. We've been to Lochwinnoch RSPB centre and there's lots of them there. You can guarantee seeing at least 25 at the feeding station. Stunning birds.

Can’t believe what I just saw outside Iceland (shop). A black cat run to a car with a mouse in its mouth and then let it down. The mouse ran under the car and then started coming out from under the wheel and sat under the cats nose. The cat then swiped it with its paw to back under the car. The mouse done the same thing and the cat lifted it tossed it up and then swiped it again with its paws. The mouse proceeded to literally play cat and mouse. There was about 5/6 people standing watching in disbelief and the security guard said he’d seen it three times this week doing the same and when it gets bored playing the cat kills the mouse. * amazing sight.

Witnessed something similar myself a few years ago, it’s really fascinating to watch but usually doesn’t end well for the wee mouse.
