I loved that era so much. Was just a kid and only 8 when we got to Seville but remember kicking a wee ball around my house pretending to be Thompson, Sutton, Petrov and of course Larsson

Guy was immense for us and I thought * are we signing here.

Still takes a wide berth on my best Celtic XI.

Couldn't believe our luck when we got him from Villa.
He'd been incredible at Bolton before joining AV, and you just knew he'd be good value with the low transfer fee.

interesting to see the free kick at Anfield again, and a certain S. Gerrard jump over the ball as it flew into the net.
    Happy days

What a left foot he had, a winner too...

Was underrated by some, but was an important part of an amazing team.

    Was a great player..

After Lubo (both to be fair) and Naka he had arguably the best left peg in my lifetime..

Collins but i don't remember him that much. McGregor has a quality left peg. Mulgrew had a good one..

Unless I'm forgetting any though, Thommo's was consistently class and in the very big moments/game's..

Griffiths would be up there with Thommo for dead ball strikes (not chips though)
