Bradford City (some guy called Black?) has told Rangers to suck it up. Hahaha

Some chairman (particularly the Bradford and Port Vale ones) have come out of this quite well. Carol Shanahan at Port Vale said it was the hardest thing she has has had to do voting to end the season for the greater good when her team were just outside the playoffs. The same applies to Bradford.

Compare that stance to those just outside the playoffs in league 1 that are only looking after themselves imo.

League 1 is a bit of a joke and yes it is very tight at the top with the automatic promotion spots still anyones.

However, with 10 games of the season left and Coventry City having only lost 3 games in 34, are 5 points clear with a game in hand. Yet teams in the playoffs who want the season either cancelled or postponed are 8 points off 1st place and have lost 3 times as many games as Coventry are putting clubs at risk and are only in it for their own selfish needs.

The current places are a reflection of the season. Teams are going to felt hard done by and rightly so. However, they are acting like Rangers - we are where we are and clubs need to be saved by ending the season.

Nigel Clough has stepped down as Burton boss saying he hopes his wages can be spent on other people at the club.

Clough says: "We hope that by stepping away it helps the club with the financial pressures in these unprecedented times, and that it will also help the club secure the jobs of as many of the staff as possible."

Has to be ratified by the FA, however it looks like Barrow are back in the football league after 48 years.

2-1 so 10 minutes for someone to get a winner then extra-time.

Would have rather Exeter went up as we have an office down there and have a few mates with season books, however they have been well beaten tonight it seems.

    League 1 playoffs tonight.

    Odds

    Portsmouth 7-5 ( 41.67%)
    Draw 11-5 ( 31.25%)
    Oxford 5-2 (28.57%)

    Fleetwood 11-10 ( 47.62%)
    Draw 9-4 (30.77%)
    Wycombe 100-30 (23.08%)

    Promotion
    Portsmouth 21-10 (32.26%)
    Fleetwood 5-2 (28.57%)
    Oxford 11-4 (26.67%)
    Wycombe 53-10 ( 15.87%)

The "form" pre-lockdown would suggest the winner would come from the Portsmouth v Oxford tie. However Cheltenham were the most fancied team in the 2nd division playoffs, especially after winning 2-0 away in their semi-final and they didn't even reach the final.

I'd like to see Wycombe go up for a few reasons.

1.I have a mate who supports them
2.They were totally unfancied and have performed way above expectations
    3.I like Ainsworth.
4.Most of the Peterboro and Blunderland fans were going mental when they jumped from 8th to 3rd on PPG and threw their toys out of the pram when the league wasn't null and voided.

Think the Wycombe manager's playing a gig straight after, looks like Michael Bolton.

Anyone elses sound * up in that game? Not sure it it's my IPTV, the adverts seem fine but the sound keeps cutting out during the programme.

    Edit - Fixed
