    George Floyd shouldn’t have died the way he did, but I feel BLM could hold up some other victims of oppression and police brutality. They are making it easy for the far right to attack his shocking criminal past.

    They're not marching just for him specifically though, it's a lot more to do with racial inequality. Haven't seen anyone pretend Floyd was a great guy, but how he was treated appears to be fairly common procedure with regards to how black people are treated there.

    Did you see the video of the police turning up to a crime scene, where they let the looters get away and they arrested the black shop owners. Absolutely mental, man. :giggle1:

    Not seen it mate no, but seen the video of David Dorn that was shocking. I agree that George Floyd was murdered and was disproportionately dealt with for his alleged crime, as you say I’m more inclined to be out marching about the way Police and authorities are dealing with people as a whole. This * needs to stop because nothing happened about Eric Garner or the killing of a child in Tamir Rice. I’ve looked a bit more into Floyd’s past as I had only seen the one about the pregnant woman, but it does seem he had changed getting involved in religion and moving on to better his life, if only he had that chance though eh.

    I don’t think his music is great and he always came across as a bit weird for me, I’m also still not sure why him and Jagger were in bed together whilst Marianne Faithfull is lying on the floor naked. :eek1:
