The worry has to be what Scottish Football will actually look like next season and beyond.

Most clubs survive with punters through the gate, the top clubs may be able to negotiate some sort of virtual season ticket but even that may not be enough for some Premiership Clubs, never mind the lower leagues.

Football probably low down the list for a Government bailout, arguably rightly so. Seems inevitable we will see some clubs fold one by one in the coming months. With all the redundancy and misery that go with that.

Watching the German league yesterday, a high quality product greatly diminished without fans. Scottish Football behind closed doors for any length on time simply wouldn’t survive long.

Big Jock’s quote never more apt....

We will be ok financially in the short to medium term but what will the League actually look like this time next season?

League reconstruction may not happen this season, but it will happen this time next season or even before as there will be a lot less clubs in existence.

Apologies for such a cheery post..:56:

I think every club will be on their * bar us mate and we'll * the 10..

That's genuinely how I see it going hand on heart..

Our division quality wise will be at its worst in a long time. The Huns will have to offload or they'll be in big trouble and we'll be just about fine coming out of this for now to march on for the 10..

Aye, I think this was their chance to stop us, this season they were close until after January and then we blew them away. They know it too, hence the hurt and the whole null and void agenda.

However, during the 10 or even before next season kicks off, clubs are going to fold and unless they start amalgamating by area we might have nobody to play, including the Huns :56:

Suspect the huns will offload Morelos and * the majority of their budget on his replacement + Hagi, which hilariously leaves them with Tavernier and Goldson at the back.

Don't see how some of the smaller clubs will get through this tho, Diets will be in huge trouble if they go down, and clubs like ICT, Dundee and Thistle are in serious trouble

Rangers may not offload and would not surprise me if they went bust trying to stop us. Weaker league makes it easier to beat for them.

They were playing well mate. We were looking gassed with the amount of game's in back to back seasons catching up..

Also telling that we had so many injuries throughout the side and playing with no striker.....and the time when they had a couple of injuries and suspensions.....they fell apart and couldn't recover..

I honestly think with what's gone on here and the injustice, as well as the rest being financially *.....we'll walk it easy..

We could have our very own Queens Park Rangers then :84:

Even if they keep their full squad.....it's still the laughably * lot that have been utter failures or serial losers to us for year's. Slippy staying and getting s reprieve due to this pandemic.... should be music to every Celtic fan's ears..

After how some of those particular club's have acted during all of this.....I honestly couldn't care less now. * them..

    Even better..

It isn't about the quality of these side's. It's their bottle when the pressure us on..

    They've all admitted as much..

This was my thought process but I didn't foresee them pulling off the Castore deal.

    That's a game-changer. We might struggle to compete £ for £ now.

Don't kid yourself mate. They are going to bring in Hagi, Dykes to partner Morelos and Ferguson. They have money to burn. Everything is rosy in the garden over there. Forget the fact they are ripping the * right out the fans by all but charging them to wear their strip, they are ready to pump millions into the playing squad. All the while we will be losing Edouard, Ajer etc etc. Ra bears are back Timmy.

I know you're joking but they could well be happy to go bust next year if it means winning a trophy.

Tam Cowan and Stuart Cosgrove were saying that * and semi-professional clubs might actually find it easier to survive because they could essentially close down for a season or so because their players are on short-term contracts, and generally have another source of income outside of football.

The mid-sized professional clubs could be the worst hit.

I know people who run a semi pro club, people generally sign for 1 season then discuss re-signing at the end of the season. He is right they could just turn * for a year.

i honestly think amalgamation for wee town teams into a regional team would be the best thing to happen

    * knows how all these teams that own their own grounds survive on a couple of thousand to a couple of hundred fans a game with the costly overheads there must be
