Simple wee game since this lockdowns boring as *, name two players and a Celtic team from a specific year, and pick the player you'd rather have in it. Whoever answers can make up their own, aim of the game is to make it that difficult * start arguing and disagreeing like * over it :56: all players to be taken at their absolute peak.

    Seville year Celtic.

    Gianluigi Buffon or Ronaldinho

Can if you want mate, I was just meaning Celtic teams, so like the year we went to Seville, who would you rather have at their absolute peak in that team, Buffon or Ronaldinho. Then you do the same, so on and so forth.

    Buffon.

If he was in goals we’d have won the final.

    Sorry Rab.

Ronaldinho. Buffon would probably have won us Seville but just imagine Ronaldinho getting to play with his hero for longer. The smile man.

    Lennon's last 16 team.

    Seedorf or Nedved

Think with him in goals that team would have went far in the Champions League, * with Boruc or Forster it would have never mind peak Buffon. I agreed with that.

Been doing these with my brother and it ends up in some arguments :56:

Pavel Nedved, his Balon d'Or season he was something else. Considering Kris Commons played on the right for the majority of that run he would have kicked it up several levels. Always preffered Seedorf through the middle and I don't think there was much room for a sort of attacking central midfielder in that team. Although imagine him and Wanyama in the middle.

Gordon Strachan's final season - Paolo Maldini or Shevchenko

I think Nedved is underrated these days. I'd have him too. Seedorf was different class too though

Don't think either would have got us far in the CL on their own, so for domestic purposes it has to be Shevchenko. He would have been the difference for us winning the league.

    2012/13 season

    Rio Ferdinand or Didier Drogba

Definitely Drogba for me, Van Dijk had just came in. Think if we had a proper lone striker upfront that team would be remembered much better, we had some great performances in Europe that yar but bad results due to not having that cutting edge and getting worn down.

    This season, Canavarro or Kaka

Seville year. Any moderately competent goalkeeper. Doesn't need to be Buffon, just better than Douglas. Anti Niemi or someone like that.

Cannavaro. Hard to choose as both world-class players, I just think Ajer is a weaker link than any of our midfielders.

    1971 team: Beckenbauer or Cruyff?
