Yeah it's pretty *, no Celtic, no pub no eating out, but think there's been a couple of good things come from it.

Netflix, don't usually bother with tv cos it usually just soaps and reality *, but finally got this and there's some great stuff on it.

Running, only did this in the gym before but now go a run early every morning.

No shopping centres, got dragged to these * holes on a reasonably regular basis, that's that *.

Decorating and garden maintenance. Well ahead of the curve with this cos of lockdown

As cheesy as it sounds, it’s been good to just spend quality time with the mrs and the wean. I’m guilty of constantly thinking and stressing about work when life is functioning normally.

And being able to just get absolutely rat arsed and not worry about work or school runs or pretty much anything :giggle1:

I'm a key worker so my life has changed little.

The positives are, far less traffic on the road for my journey to and from work. Nobody invading my personal space whilst I go about my job.

I’ve had over 2 months of watching my son grow up that I’d never have had otherwise. I’ll look back in a few year and be delighted I got that, I ken that already.

When the weathers been good it’s been absolute bliss. Out the back tunes on, pints poured. Exactly what I’d be doing regardless of the virus.

The weather has been fantastic thankfully. Think it might have been a different story otherwise.
On the whole, I’ve enjoyed spending time with my kids although there have been times.....
I actually think that we will look back at this time in a few years with a lot of positive memories.

3 week, almost fully paid, holiday. Only one week in. Be a shame if they extend it another 6 weeks :84:

Same as above, getting to spend more time with the wee man. I usually work 12 hour shift so when I'm working I only get to see him for 1-2 hours. Nearly crawling so hopefully gets it sussed in the next week or two. The weather being as good as it is being another bonus. Only going out the once a day but at least it's not chucking it down.

6th week on furlough come Monday on full pay (dont know whats happening long term .I work in construction machine sales)

Positives are I have nearly done the jobs I have been putting off and try and do a DIY job a day
I have even converted my loft into another bedroom (I had already all the material and now just need it plastered...took about 3 weeks ,kingspan insulated ,floored ,plasterboard, plumbed in a radiator ,electrics and bigish new velux fitted )

The most saddest DIY job I done was clean all the moss of one side of my roof as after fitting my velux window I thought it looked bad

negatives are I think i am turning into an alky as the alcohol consumption has sky rocketed.

My Mrs is well impressed with how the house is looking though

I'm liking the one way style of shopping and, for the most part, * staying out your way while you shop too.
Wouldn't mind this system staying in place once we're out of this :giggle1:
