First two seasons were amazing and quite simply very well written TV.
Can’t agree that I haven’t enjoyed season 3 (I’m now on season 4) however I’ve found these seasons a lot more sinister. Then I noticed it now says “A Netflix Original” which I feel is slightly misleading as they may have produced season 3-4 but 1-2 they did not.

Rewatching AfterLife for the Second season starting on Friday.

Great show,Gervais really is a talented guy,i know so many people hate him but i think hes * hilarious tbh,but he can act,and well sometimes, dont think he suits movies but the shows he does are outstanding.

He is especially good in this, serious with humour fired in at the right moments.

    Well worth a watch

Haven't watched Vikings as I dont have Amazon prime, I've seen people saying vikings isn't as good as it was or something in the first few season whereas TLK was already good but has got better. Best thing about TLK is there is zero filler episodes like there was in game of thrones.

    The Innocence Files

That dental "expert" in the first couple of episodes was an utter scumbag. Just refusing point blank to accept any responsibility for ruining peoples lives. He actually hated The Innocence Project (lawyers committed to overturning wrongful convictions). I mean how much of an uncaring, narcissistic sociopath do you have to be to actively hate people who save peoples lives, just because their evidence shows you up to be an incompetent quack?

I genuinely would have loved to smack him in his stupid racist face given half the chance.

    Watched the first 4 episodes.
As you say, good but a bit on the sad side. Some funny bits but needs more.
Hoping for a happy ending at least.

Just Binged watched AfterLife season 2.

Great stuff,as i said earlier Gervais is great in it yet again, pretty sad stuff and well acted.

More Vicious humour than the first season which is good. Stand out is Paul Kaye (makes me want to go back and watch Strutter) as the shrink in this season, very sick and funny humour.

Worth a watch for Gervais fans.

    Just finished it as well.
Very well done and enjoyable but wouldn’t describe it as funny.
Most of his stuff is very well balanced but I would say this series just tipped too far towards being sad.

Yeah,i kinda shoulda said i felt Gervais took a step back from the humour this time as his character dealt with his issues.

Jokes kinda came from the appearances of Paul kaye/Dave Earl and Joe Wilkinson, especially Kaye, was * myself at his sick hatred and perving towards woman.

Great show though. I know Gervais never does more than 2 seasons of anything he writes and directs but i think we will see a Xmas special as he usually does that.

One of my favourite series back in the day. Watched a few last night on youtube.

The Strutter Bubble is needed in these times :)

Even out with "forensic ontology " there are so many cases where you see the police have just made up their mind.

    Check cold case files series
The amount of simple mistakes made by detectives is insane

Watched all of Lincoln Rhyme, it was good. I also liked the film with Denzel Washington & Angelina Jolie.

Think Gervais has confirmed season 3. Although he could of finished it there and I’d of been quite happy.

Such a great show. I’m a massive fan of The Office, Extras and Derek too. Think Gervais is a genius.
