He was called a nonce in the previous page. People use peng to describe food, clothes etc. If you said to someone that their 8 year old daughter was pretty they’d take it as a compliment. I’d agree it was properly a poor choice of word but you can’t prove there was any malice involved.

To be fair to him, he’s not adding kids to his Instagram live knowingly. He doesn’t have a clue who they are or what age until they pop up on the video.

But that's not what he said. There is a difference between saying a baby is cute or saying they'll be a heart breaker when they're older and saying after a short conversation she's one of them ones who will be 'peng' when she's older.

Fair enough, obviously peng has connotations I’m unaware of. I don’t think Celtic could actually do anything to punish him. At the end of the day people like to moan and quickly forget. We’ve got a guy up front that people were calling to be sacked after he called someone a * refugee and told another person to go back to his own country, but now everyone loves him. People make mistakes.

 

I'm not sure we'll sack him, debatable on whether we should or not. I've never heard of the expression but undoubtedly was at best misguided. However, he is young himself and has obviously * up. So unsure if we should just sack him maybe that sends out the wrong message to our young players.

And just for the record I wasn’t defending him, I was simply saying he is stupid young boy who should have been clearer with his words. I’m of the opinion he was just meaning she was a beautiful wee girl(which she was) and she will be a stunner when she’s older.
