Use the following for European comp next season if SC unfinished before EL placings are picked.

SPL winners - Celtic - CL spot.
SC place, since us and huns are already in Europe, EL 2nd rd place goes to Aberdeen since they are higher place in current league
SPL runners up - Huns - EL 1st rd
    SPL 3rd place - Motherwell - EL 1st rd

It's only just hit me that the quadruple treble is likely ruined

Not necessarily, given that it's only 3 games it could be played within a week before the league resumes.

Big cash for the SFA, the clubs and the sponsors. I think they'll find a way to play it.

Even if the club do not win the cup (although I think they will play it Saturday, Sunday and then Saturday) it is 11 trophies on the bounce and another whitewash.

I'm the other way. Rightly or wrongly, I'm certain they will find a way to play it out. Smaller nations may decide to call theirs now for financial reasons I.e Holland, Belgium and prob us as well but the big leagues (EPL, Serie A, Bundesliga and La Liga) will play it out imo.

It doesnt matter when its won ,its part of the three and would still be a quadruple treble if won whenever its played .

it just needs 2 match days...
The SFA will want it done and would be a great way to end the season properly (even if no league games happen ).
It could be used as a warm- up to kick the next season as well. There’s a european place at stake ... potentially :34:

    I think it will happen.

Well yes and no. Yes there is a very good chance the Scottish Cup will not be finished although with only 3 games to play that if nothing else is doable you would think.
But even if it is not finished it just means the next season we are shooting for a quadruple treble again at least that's how I would look at it.

Scottish Cup will be played to a finish,, would be good chance to test out any crowd measures before the season starts.

Hibs & Hearts could use Murrayfield and we play the sheep at Hampden. staggered kick offs,, full afternoon of fitba and games on tv. This would be an ideal test ( also the final when that is played ) to ensure that we are all set up to play the new season.

Much better to have a few games played under any new conditions than start a full league programme .. but hey, i'm just a fan, what the * would i know and why would any official or government mouthpiece even consider the benefits of putting on 3 matches before letting everyone play

They must be hoping that pressure will win in the end...

Arsenal and Brighton have opened up their training centres for players... presumably still following guidelines.

I dont see an issue with them using private fitness centres to keep up fitness. What more harm will that do than sending all the we 18 year old lassies to work the tills down asda with a pathetic screen covering * all.

Because teams will have congested fixtures when they come back FIFA are thinking of letting clubs use 5 subs.

This was already in the plans before Corona. FIFA wants to allow 5 subs because the large teams have enormous squads and can't put all their expensive players to use. This will certainly be kept permanently after the crisis and increase the gap between the 5 or 6 billionaire backed clubs and the rest further.

Would be wiser adapting the competitions to a transitional, exceptional season with less games rather than milking fans and football again.
