During the dog walk this morning along the Clyde. Only had my phone with me, but in the first photo you can just about see a white blob sitting on the branch. In the second one (zoom really struggling!), it becomes just about clear that the blob is one of two cormorants.

It struck me that it had a very white chest for a cormorant - internet says probably a juvenile.

Anyway, it was a nice morning!

Thanks Bhoys, no matter what kind of camera you use, if they think you're too close...

I've just noticed I have visitors.

There days ago I saw a wasp on the end of the curtain pole in my living room. It appeared to be struggling and I assumed i had got caught in a cobweb. It flew off after a few mins.

The next day I saw what I thought was a cocooned wasp in the same place (my eyesight's not great). I just thought it was time for a spring clean.

Tonight it caught my eye but was twice as large so I took a closer look..

I'm no fan myself johnboy. I should have got rid last night but I felt bad and decided I'd have the best part of a week to find a place to relocate it before the drones hatched.

However this morning the queen was buzzing around my house but looking in a bad way. Eventually she hit the ground and with a heavy heart I took her life.

I might post some more pics later with a look inside.

This guys a little warrior. He tries to kill everything he encounters. I’ve had to set him up in a solo tank for the foreseeable. Some fish just like to be alone :)

    Cracking images idioteque.

I couldn't help noticing the colours and the comment you made about it needed to be on its own.

No fishes like me, but I don't care!

@Idioteque . I was given a convict fish when I had the tank up , the rest of the fish in the tank were terrified , it swam to the left everybody else swam to the right , it turned round ….. took it out to restore the harmony .
