    Just looking at Celtic in Europe and especially against the Big 5 league teams from England, Germany, Spain, Italy and France.
    The English press always arrogantly say that they are the best league in the world.
    Not against Celtic they aren't.
    Of the big 5 league teams English teams have the worst record against us.
    We have a better record against them than they have against us.
    In Europe this is Celtic stats against English teams
    P 20 W 7 D 7 L 6


    England P 20 W 7 D 7 L 6
    France P 18 W 6 D 3 L 9
    Italy P 29 W 9 D 8 L 12
    Germany P 22 W 4 D 4 L 14

    English football suits our style of play. I also think against an english team it doesnt raise nerves, it raises a fighting spirit.

    Plus every spanish team we get seems to be Barcelona anyway :56: what the * you meant to do when we drew them yearly in the champions league.

    Stats against English sides is magic when you thinks it always gonna be against teams finishing 1-7ish. And 10x the budget.

    But we would struggle to get out the Chanmpionship according to them...

    Who was the German we faced under Mowbray Hamburg ? I’m not saying we can beat them but shouldnt be losing to them at home them or bmg .... could add a duck load more on to that list who are not in top five leagues who we shouldn’t have lost to at home

    Leeds Utd - League Champions when we beat them in EC semi final (2 Wins)
