Right important question and feedback required

My wee Henry hoover has given up the ghost after 15 years and do I get one of these Dyson hoovers or stick with Henry as he is still about £100 quid to buy and cant fault ?

Henry 100% too much can go wrong with a dyson once warranty goes.

    I've got both.

The Henry is in my workshop being used as dust extraction. It's just over 19 years old.

It's in my workshop because I got a Dyson. The Dyson feels brittle in comparison.

I'd recommend the Henry by a long shot.

Have you tried to fix the broken one? They're fairly simply designed and there is loads of videos on how to repair them on you tube.

Have both, Henry is great but a little big. Bought the dyson V7 Motorhead and it's great, fairly speeds things up. Just remember to always charge after use. Wouldn't go back to a normal hoover now tbh. Mind stairs and landing are only carpet, the rest is hard floor.

Why not be a little avant garde and get a "Hoover" hoover?

Iv got both. Henry is big, clunky, heavy and a pain in the * to plug in, wind plug back and thud the huge thing into its storage zone, that it filled the entire area up. Pain in the * to take it out and Hoover the car aswel.

Dyson on a we stick. Pick up, hoover, put back by the time iv unwound henry. Pick up, Hoover car and fire it back inside. If it breaks, it breaks. I'd buy another yearly purely for how easy it is.

Henry is an out of date big clunky peice of * living on the memories of old.

I got the V10 Animal Dyson after Christmas, give my Henry to my daughter, so far Im not disappointed, much easier to use and stronger than I thought it would be, the only place I have carpet is on the stairs, so I think the Dyson works better on tiled and wooden floors

Have a cylinder Dyson and without being too blunt it is *. Feels flimsy, carpet head too small and accessories dont all fit on the hoover which is a pain. Next hoover will be a Miele.
