Realistically it will be impossible to have 22 players and the officials on a football pitch never mind the rest of the squad on the sidelines.
    It should be called now.

The guy that launches slippers at his box will be giving it the “I’m not happy about this but what can you”. Even though he would’ve been absolute * delighted.

As stated in the above article, it is common sense that football will be played behind closed doors at least for the remainder of this season. However, the Huns have already stated that they won't play behind closed doors - hoping that that would stop us wining the title on the pitch.

They want the money now without the season being called. Make absolutely no mistake they are pushing hard for the Null and Void. They can't win the league on their own merit so seek use COVID-19 to stop us winning the 9. They are no better than all the other scum who seek to profit from this virus.

So Highland League and now Lowland League have ended their season and announced standings final.

Vast majority of clubs in League 2, League 1 and Premiership all in favour of doing the same....yet we're being held to ransom by a Dundee chairman for potentially 4 weeks.

I tend to agree with you in the short term. But going to closed door games might be the way to re-introduce football when things are brought under control. Realistically it is not going to be safe to have full stadiums for a long time that is completely off the table for now.

The same Edinburgh City that have been publicly talking about how they're financially in trouble only recently..

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the diets.........

Edinburgh City - refusing to acknowledge that a global pandemic is going to mean all aspects of society will need to make some sort of sacrifice - for Scottish football that sacrifice is a league cut short, but prize funds handed out, 4 clubs will be relegated early. That's the sacrifice needed.

But no Edinburgh City refuse to acknowledge that small sacrifice and instead want EVERYONE to suffer short term and rewrite an entire domestic setup for their own interest.

When this is all set and stone we should really be banning the media from Celtic Park..

It's been nothing short of disgraceful how we've been spoken and about and portrayed despite saying absolutely nothing to warrant it..

If we're no marking bods out then shame on us..

Dundee are on the brink of releasing Scottish football from coronavirus deadlock by finally giving their backing to the SPFL’s controversial survival plan.

The Dens Park club left the fate of the football season hanging in the balance on Friday night when they failed to register a vote before the 5pm deadline on a proposal to effectively end the season now.

That decision sparked a furious backlash with stricken clubs denied the urgent distribution of prize money - cash which would have been deposited by this morning.

But it also kept the proposed emergency measures alive as Dundee managing director John Nelms had originally been expected to reject the resolution and could have scuppered it completely until a dramatic late change of mind on Friday afternoon

Had Nelms carried through with his intention then the proposals - which would see Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers crowned champions with Partick Thistle and Stranraer relegated, plus open up the possibility of Celtic being named Premiership champions and Hearts demoted - the league’s plan would have been blocked by a single vote.

But late on Monday Nelms was believed to be on the verge of a completing a shock U-turn by giving his support to the league’s plan.

A close source said: “John has been doing a lot of thinking over these last few days as there are parts of the proposal which he still finds difficult to accept because they are inherently unfair.

But, at the same time, he also realises there is no easy or completely fair solution to the problems that Covid-19 has created. He is also aware that 85 per cent of the clubs have voted for these measures and some of them are in urgent need of the financial assistance which this plan would provide.

The belief and the expectation now is that he will indeed register Dundee’s vote and that he will back the SPFL’s proposals even though he’s clearly struggling with various aspects.”

Record Sport revealed on Monday that the SPFL board plan urgent talks to draw up a new crisis plan but those talks were placed on hold to give Dundee more time to deliberate with some on Hampden’s sixth floor hopeful that Nelms would get to the ballot box before close of business.

That didn’t happen last night but our source said: “All the indications are that the Dundee vote will be arriving soon and when or if it does then at least the game in this country will be given a bit of clarity.”

Under the proposals the Championship, League One and League Two will be ended with immediate effect with a decision to halt the Premier League expected to follow towards the end of this month when UEFA are expected to relax previous demands for all of Europe’s current domestic top flight campaigns to be played to a completion

Why do the media always call it controversial? Yeah it ain't perfect but the SPFL know that they cam collect sponsorship and TV money so can give out prize money and give it out now which clubs desperately need, especially in lower leagues.

The tears from this will be hilarious if it's right..

The Huns will then have to provide their evidence, surely? If no, they should get pennies left over from all the sanctions the SPFL SHOULD be putting on them..

Still to this day, I've seen nobody in the media telling it how it is and how we're the one's being robbed here. Not a single one has said we're being robbed of going for a historic quadruple treble....but it's all about a side who had zero to play for. Out of every competition..

Hope a few club's go to the wall over their shenanigans the past couple week's..

Hope we still play the games though, imagine them all raging saying we've been handed it only to then go and complete it on the park again. Beat them twice :giggle1::lenny1:
