I personally thought the Bairds Bar thing was genuinely done with his best interests at heart. Obviously it backfired and people thought it was embarrassing etc, but i do believe he was trying to get in touch with the fans in some way.

No, i cant name a host of others, as i said i was exaggerating, but i just meant having an association with one club no longer means you are ostracised by the other.....there is more acceptance of people with 'previous'!

Voted no, but he was well before my time so my opinion of it may be flawed.

Youth players as well theres been a lot, Craig Beattie, Chris Burke I think went from us to them, Liam Burt who played for them last season, Gregg Wylde from us to them, probably more than them too.

Our ex I think youth team sports science guy Owen Wilson or something like that went to them.

30 year ago probably no-one except Conn had swapped clubs now a lot do it, they didnt ever really used to have Celtic fans in their squad, John Spencer was probably the first in decades now half their team are probably tims :smiley-laughing002:

anyone that Is saying that he isn't a legend obviously never seen much footage of him playing. franz beckenbaur in an interview I recall seeing a few years ago stated he was one of the best European player he ever played against . rated him better than even Michel platini saying that being as technically good as him he was much stronger and was just about the cleverest player he ever faced. I think that says more than enough tbh. platini being world and European player of the year at the time.

It means Gullit has a far better sense of humour than Beckenbaur.

I wish there was a way of forgetting that whole "John Barnes affair" :smiley-laughing002: * even had the cheek to say he was forced out the job due to racism. Nowt to do with him being a useless c**t.

Like him or not, Cooper was a talent. Like a lot of British players though he simply never realised the full extent of it.

Of course he’s a Celtic legend, he won bigger trophies at Liverpool but so did Henrik at Barcelona. On top of his World Class ability on the park (with McGrain), Dalglish literally had an open door at his home to the families of Hillsborough, the man was there for his club and community, a credit to Celtic and a sublimely gifted goalscorer.

My thoughts go out to his family and himself at this time, if heart is a survival factor Kenny will be fine.
