I know they don't give a * Pat but it's time we (as in us smaller nations) gave them a * to think about..if we don't do it now when this * is going on and their trying to threaten us with expulsion from their competitions then * them.

UEFA probably only pay out to clubs before the last 8 of the tournament based on the big ££ they make from the last 8 when the global audience and big ££ kicks in.

Ergo....the overall take and payout has an impact on that not happening.

So a null and void could arguably suit their agenda so as not to pay out ££ they will never receive at this juncture.

That’s where it becomes a vested interest.

The incessant calendar for football is what stops the genuine negotiations between clubs into this sort of radical breakaway.... there’s never any time for genuine revolution.

Now we actually have a situation where clubs can talk Europe wide and have the time to plot such an outcome..

Smaller clubs should be merging to survive and strengthen.

If clubs go bust (especially the Huns) a new SFA could be formed quite easily... its only an association .... an asset-less entity that we need to flush clean anyway. A break away by enough clubs would see the blazers extinct overnight.

A new european structure would be good as well. East/west or north/south leagues with a combined second phase etc to give proper european coverage ... and champions only !!!! plus cup winners in qualifiers possibly ... the way it used to be. FAIR

    can dream eh ?!?

That’s why I suggest that this is a perfect opportunity.

A once in a lifetime opportunity, as at no other time in history will we have the opportunity to see a change driven by folks seeing the ££ grubbing * for what they are.

Being * off should garner a reaction, but it’s in our own hands.

We need to embrace being * off and the potential opportunity that this situation has presented.

    Apathy is our enemy.
You've for 24 people in close contact on a pitch. That isn't including ref, coaches etc.. They would need to be all tested beforehand. Fat chance of that happening
What game exactly is it you are talking about?

It depends on what our supporters want.

The quadruple has arguably gone this season.

Ten in a row would be meaningless if we have no clubs left worth a * to play against.

    I’d rather get out now.

UEFA are deluded and quite frankly an embarrasment for every club in Europe. They are using bully boy tactics to try and protect tv revenue, telling football association's what they can't do instead of advising what they can do. They are trying to protect the top 5 leagues, the so called elite as normal. England, Spain, Italy, France and Germany. Out of all the countries only Germany seems to be keeping its death rate relatively low. England it's still climbing, Italy and Spain seem to have lost control of it, France seem to be controlling it but still death rates are high. Does UEFA think the majority of the population give a * about closed door football in July or August when they can't even get to loved ones funerals thay they have lost? Government's should act and say no football stadium should be open until September or October for any reason including closed door football. Call all the leagues in Europe as finished and the placing stand.

If national associations / governments ignore or defy uefa, what are uefa left with?

    Answer = * all.

If the clubs / associations stick together uefa can do nothing but fold or back down & lose strength & face.

If countries like France and Portugal on top of Belgium decided to quit the league then we could see plenty of other countries just end their league. Those are 3 of the best national teams in Europe including the World Cup, Euros and Nations League champions. They want them representing them at World Cups, if they punished them at club level they would happily form there own confederation at international level

It’s getting no coverage at all in the UK but the Bundesliga have already been working behind the scenes in being proactive about the problem rather than taking the SPFL EPL approach, the solution they seem to have come up with this week is to get behind closed door games started in May after all players and staff have been quarantined then put in a hotel etc for a period before the games restart, I’m not going to offer an opinion on what I think of it but the point is at least some thought and work is going on behind the scenes to find a solution rather than just put restart dates back every few weeks.

Behind closed doors are awful indeed but most of us would take anything right now and if the environment was safe and cleared then the likes of Liam Craig don’t have much excuse to start doing something again to warrant their big pay cheques

    Why September or October?

This is a fast moving pandemic, the situation may have changed at the end of this month.

It's very tricky for everyone to predict, the Euros have been cancelled, freeing up the summer, the correct decision. This has bought a little time.

However, a consensus/plan does need to be formed with dates soon.. With cut offs when each scenario becomes unworkable..

It's a complex, unprecedented situation and the governing bodies rightly have taken some time.

It was 2 months I picked at random but they would be review dates., you are correct things are changing. I am no expert and nobody really knows, but what I do know is if we have restrictions lifted in a few weeks and they are lifted too early then we could have a second outbreak.

Is that not the plan to have 2nd 3rd 4rth outbreaks because the NHS cant cope with a huge outbreak all at once

the flattening of the curve is to do with capacity in nhs beds and staff to deal with, if the peak reaches to high then patients not able to get doctors and beds therefore dying as they cant get treatment like a ventilator

so they are trying to let the disease spread to just enough people that the nhs can cope with then they will likely reduce lockdown measures and then we could/would likely see an reoccurence of the virus which they would again try and flatten the curve with

Ceferin should quite publicly be told to * off. SFA cowards should grow some balls for once and tell that * that if even one club in Scotland goes under they will sue UEFA due to not being able to release payments to their clubs.
