True mate but Hayes is touching on a 33 year old back-up/squad player
Boli will probably go this summer as something has happened there
Taylor isn't good enough to be a first choice starter here for me

Hickey looks to have far more potential than Taylor..

If we get rid of Boli. Sign Hayes on a new deal as backup. Sign a first choice left back (priority). Still sign Hickey and loan him back to the diets or a top flight side..

For cut price deals we should always look to hoover up the best local prospects. They don't have to come in and start straight away and can do with a season or 2 elsewhere on loan still. Beneficial for us in the long run and we hopefully get a quality all rounder home grown talent who supports us..

Getting Hearts at a vulnerable time too..

Think this may happen, he'll be able to leave for nothing at least this way they get some much needed cash.

    Aye mate..

If it's true that it's a mill and we've got that clause.....then if we just offer the mill it's more than anything they'll get elsewhere. We can cut it out and be seen as the good guy's in the process..

Nah, loan him to a premiership team.
At the end of the day this isn't going to save jobs. This will just go towards keeping players rather than office staff.

Its defiantly a position that needs addressing.
Would happily take him on a free, we may be able to develop him, with our coaching staff. Reckon working with that McPleelie and * * Levin wont have done his development any favors.
Some big calls for Lenny to make regarding this position in summer. Does look like end of the line for Boli, not sure how much we could expect to recoup if we punt.

He was excellent against the Huns and Hibs recently. He gets forward, can defend and has two feet. Doesn't shy away from a tackle either.

Boli has been bombed and Taylor is one dimensional.

Hickey IMO would start over them. If not now, certainly within 6 months of settling into the squad. He is a Celtic fan so understands the expectations of the club and you can never have too many supporters playing for the jersey.

Hearts would bite your arm off for £1 million the now.

Decent player, capable of handling our league, young enough to improve from what iv saw of home he looks a good prospect, at 1m it's not exactly going to break the bank

I haven't been majorly impressed when watching him but I forget he's only * 17.

It's a yes for me at that price. Very little to lose.

If we could sell Boli for say 1 or 2m and sign Hickey for 1m or less that would be a great piece of business I think.

Bring him home, I find it crazy the critisism he gets when he's essentially the same age as dembele yet has played for over a season in first team. For me sell boli and hickey will overtake Taylor by Xmas as first choice left back..

Really like him, last season when he played us and hearts had used all their subs and he got injured and he was still bursting a gut to try and catch Karamoko, that desire and attitude is rare in players these days!

He’s simply not good enough for Celtic, in my opinion. The same as Taylor.

He's 17 so a lot can still be done with him. His cost will be small.

We also have a 30% sell on clause meaning any fee paid would be reduced even further.

No point signing him to put in the development squad though. He needs to continue developing by playing regular first-year football.

Maybe you’re right and he’ll turn into a decent player. But I don’t think he’s got it at all. If you’re good enough you’re old enough as far as I am concerned, and I don’t think this guy’s good enough.

Cheap or not, I don’t think Celtic should get back into the business of hoarding average players. We’ve spent enough time trying to get Hendry, Morgan and others as far away as possible. We don’t need anymore.

How many 17 year olds can you name starting week in, week out?

Just look at some of the clubs linked with him. Think you’re being very harsh.
