Yes weather getting better and better here in North Wales:36:

This morning I saw my first Brimstone Butterfly Of The year. Big and bright Yellow, though I get the feeling one or two certain delightful Posters on here might not appreciate that!:56:
Also my first Comma Butterfly And 2 different female Sparrowhawk, one being mobbed by a Crow. The Green Woodpecker was calling a lot again playing hide and seek as usual:31::56:
Oh and a Skylark called as it flew overhead.

Yes the weather is great here too this week Cider. Up on the Downs where I go walking the air is alive with the sound of Skylarks and Yellowhammers. Have seen a couple of Brimstones but nothing else yet. At about 4:45am this morning the dawn chorus was in full voice (the other call of nature got me up!), but it was all completely quiet again by about 6am. Haven't seen a Wheatear yet, but I'm on the lookout!

Brilliant stuff Archie, yes you cannot bear the Dawn Chorus. Funny enough I opened my bedroom window at around that very time to take in the beyond lovely sound.
Yes it is always great seeing the First Brimstones Of The year. You are lucky to have Yellowhammers locally, they lovely birds:50:

A few from yesterdays walk around Lower Rosses, there was a pair of Grey Herons flying and twisting in what I think was a courtship dance, there was also an Egret there fishing, I got a few shots of him in flight but I forgot to change settings on my camera:31: and they came out blurry, but next time...
