Yip, what definitely won’t happen though is the eradication of the virus in that short a period.

Apparently some Japanese scientists have proven the virus can’t survive even passed above 26 degrees

Which in real life terms doesn’t compute considering it’s transferring to places like Africa which rarely if ever drops below 26 degrees.

If their 'plan' works out and let's say we're circa 10 weeks away from the peak then that's roughly end of May for peak at absolute earliest based on their current modelling. And then it needs to shallow significantly to even consider sport again i would say. That's a big 'if' but i hope they are on the money with this.

UEFA will demand compensation of around £275m from clubs and leagues to postpone Euro 2020 by a year due to coronavirus, according to the Athletic.

Stakeholders will be told this in emergency meetings on Tuesday, when it will be confirmed the tournament will be delayed a year.

But he's not willing to give free testing and treatment to 30 million uninsured Americans and millions more "illegal" immigrants to control the spread.

I know what you mean; but if he doesn't do something about these things soon, America is going to make Italy look like a holiday camp and then no one will be laughing.

For all I despise Boris Johnson utterly and disagree with his plan, I think he's shown he's not as big a moron as he likes to pretend and as we all feared. I can't say that about Trump.

Seriously, someone competent has to take over directing their response right now. Genuinely worrying.

At least the individual states have some considerable autonomy and many of their governments aren't as incompetent as the president. That might just be their saving grace, thank *.

    Although only time will tell.

"Hysteria" as you call it is completely justified and will be ramped up 10 fold by that time.

It's terrifying and astonishing that some people are still going to pubs and schools etc. I am not even the least bit religious but I prayed yesterday on the absolute minuscule chance it could do something to help. It can do no harm eh.

Everyone and their granny has rounded on the Lyon cheif for exactly the same attitude the huns and huns light are professing right now.

First... the rocket wanted the title in france to be decided by an average points tally from the last 5 years... conveniently placing Lyon from 7th right to 2nd.

Now, the * zoomer wants the league null and void, mooting that CL places be awarded as they were in the previous season.

French football is absolutely scathing of his attitude and self serving pronouncements. The media is slaughtering him and both Marseille and PSG presidents have rounded on him, calling him self serving and opportunistic.

The same attitude is being bandied about by the orcs, the league isnt over, but we're not playing bcd. Trying to pigeon hole scottish football into a null and void scenario where we are denied the title... but they take 2nd place prize money and indeed the 2nd place euro spot... DESPITE not being mathematically out of sight of motherwell or aberdeen.

In France theyre calling it a disgrace.

In Scotland theyre calling it sporting integrity.

We should call their bluff. Declare support for N&V and threaten legal action should they attempt to take ANY euro spots or prize money.

    I posted this earlier.
Why not have this go ahead.
Since they would probably be the only matches being played the TV companies would want to show the matches live.
The SFA and clubs could get extra money for showing them which would help the clubs.
Have them bid on the matches that arent in the contract that SFA currently have.
