Crazy that some are still downplaying this and compare this to cold and talk * about generation being weak. Out of words. This * is incredibly dangerous.

Best case scenario we’re everyone is happy finish league carry on with cup comps in end of April don’t relegate any teams ad two from championship 14 team league still have split so we can have 4 Derby’s killing two birds with one stone league expansion and a route where everyone is happy

Simply voiding everything isn’t a workable option. Domestic football
leagues decide how prize money is distributed, European places, relegation/promotion etc. Of all the solutions that have been suggested it’s the least likely.

My guess is they’ll find a workable solution that will see clubs playing games behind closed doors. The huns idea of ‘nulling and voiding’ the league will be added to the chronicles of the Banter Years as the time they attempted to stop the 10 by simply taking the ball and going home.

That is the same as ending the league just now as no positions would change.

I'd award average point vs the teams you have still to play. For us v the huns we would get an average of 3 points over the 2 games remaining. Hibs we would get 2 points per game as we have taken 4 points from them in our 2 games previously. Based on that formula the table would finish as per below.

    Celtic 97pts
    Huns 88
    Motherwell 57
    Aberdeen 54.5
    Hibs 44.5
    Livi 44
    St Johnstone 47
    Killie 43.5
    Ross county 40
    St mirren 39
    Hamilton 32
    Diets 29

Thwre is an issue with rounding points to nearest 0.5 but the table would not change if full decimalisation was used.
Clear winners, clear europa spots, clear relegation and clear playoff place.

    * sake when does the football start up, this is brutal.

Yup that would be my preferred solution.

    Works for everyone.

And the winner of * of the year goes to....^^^^^^^
Half my family, parent, aunts and uncles are in their 70s,some have medical conditions, but they just need to man up.
There is more than a few people on this site that will be in the same boat as me and will be worried, sadly the chances are someone on this site will lose loved ones to this virus that is in its self not dangerous to most.
Your generation is indeed full of self centered little *,no wonder you hate it.

I get the irony of me commenting about this, but football and winning the league etc is one of the last things on my mind.

Seeing people calculate average points / games left and all this sort of stuff just doesn't interest me at all.

    Couldn't give a * right now.

Simple changes to lifestyle is the best approach.
I've worked out through trials that 4 sheets of toilet roll per solid and two for various other wiping needs means my family of four should be fine for 2 weeks and 6 days.

Make your own bread and hand sanitizer too :50:

Would need about 3 and a half weeks to finish the league season if every club played every Sat/Sun then Tue/Wed.

If they Euros is cancelled and the virus is under control in 2/3 months time then this should be played out then.

That or we are back playing behind closed doors in April.

Who really knows though. The safety of everyone is the main concern and football will just have to take a backseat for a while.

I think they will just treat this as a summer break and maybe only get a week off in summer or something daft like that.....should be playing all summer in this country anyway.

Would the table remain the same in my scenario? I just couldn’t be arsed checking them all.

If the league is extended into the summer how would it work if players have expiring contracts?
Do we have players that are out of contract in June/July?
Our loans with Forster and Ely would expire.
