Honestly the league should have been scrubbed months ago. Ross County nearly couldn't put out 11 players because of a dose of the common Cold. That happend yet not one player has tested positive for this * and here we are.

Synical as it's sounds but this country needs to put there big boy pants on. Such a * minor thing. Hate our generation man. It snows....Stand still! It's too warm... Stand still! Cold way a new name.... fukin batten doon the hatches troops winter is coming. Fukin feeble.

What figures are you uaing for that? All the figures I've seen say this is far, far, far more deadly than a cold for anyone over the age of about 60 or who has underlying health conditions. For the very old (80+), the survival chances seem to be akin to playing Russian roulette.

That's assuming we don't end up with the NHS overwhelmed (like the health service in parts of northern Italy). That would see the death rate rise even higher.

It's not about being a snowflake and indulging yourself for having symptoms akin to a bad cold; it's about protecting the vulnerable.

The only way I can see the football being played out is for the players and their families to go into self isolation for a week or two. Then be tested. Once majority are cleared these groups remain in isolation to play games behind closed doors. Might seem like drastic but players are paid enough these days and it’s worth so much financially to a lot of clubs in all leagues. Of course that hun * Boyd already trying to shoot down any idea of that

Meant the early rounds really. No need for that group round early doors.

If this season takes a few weeks longer to finish, then that needs to be scrapped for a KO round. As for us and the Champions League Qualifiers? * knows.

    Don’t be a * mate.

This is a little more than a stand still due to weather.

I agree we * the bed in most situations but this is different.

If an elderly relative of yours is affected by it then you would be keeping your mouth shut.

That's the government's fault, not his. Other countries that were successful had massive information campaigns. We had advice to wash our hands and stay away from cruises.

How about dividing points by games played and awarding the average points to each team for remaining games. For instance Celtics average points tally over 30 games is 2.7. 2.7x8 remaining games=22points 22+80=102 points total.

If it does go like reported, it either has to be awarded now or you finish off when able to return and maybe make next seasons league just a mini season with home and away, no split. Can either cut or add the cups in to make the season longer or short as necessary.

In actual fact.... the league doesn’t really need to be fully completed... just run until it’s mathematically won and the bottom end is sorted.... I’d think most of that might be sorted within 4 rounds, although uefa spits and prize positions might be an issue..

The complex playoff system the spfl have lumbered themselves with is another matter... and may be more tricky to accommodate.

Fully expecting ‘certain’ club(s) to be using their media to campaign for a ‘null season’ and for government compo.

Think we are well enough ahead to get the league title today, feel a bit of sympathy for Hearts though, would rather see Hamilton and their * pitch go down should they leave the table as it stands

So....how is everyone going to cope without football potentially until August, if today's rumors are true?

Won't lie that's going to be difficult to handle if it materialises.

I’d like to think we play the season to it’s end surely when possible (whenever that may be), 2 games a week for 5/6 weeks (to finish the cup off) Scrap the euros. Finish the season at all costs would be my view, next season they would just have to adjust something but you can’t void a league after 30 games surely to f*ck, madness.

Tbh the league will have to be played, how can it be scrubbed. There's just too many legal challenges, clubs looking for compensation for making transfers, fans season ticket books /match tickets, bonuses already and not paid.

If the home club cannot put on the fixture then just award the away team a 3-0 win That would work in almost every league except ours because our * set up has not even decided the fixtures !

If the league is Null & Void then so is the prize money. Pretty sure no club wants that to happen.
And if they want to void all matches what happens to all the bookings or fines in some cases?
So many problems with not finishing the league... and still some if they want to play after June 9th.

The New season cannot even be planned for until this one is completed. Get this seasons fixtures out of the way and ffs get the rule book updated. So many things need fixed in our game and the * in charge get a big salary for doing nothing to improve the game or the running of it

    Here here!

Any way you look at a logical approach, it is clear and simple what the outcome will be.
Only then and their baby brothers are crying for a null and void season, without and regards to the integrity of the large majority of the season already played. Or with regards to how anything goes forward.

Voiding the league now and deeming no winner, who gets the one and only champions League spot next season? Argument falls right there.
Unless they are accepting that Scotland has no clubs in any European competitions? Which would be a very very bad thing for the Huns.

If the season can be completed then we must complete it. But if the virus outbreak lasts long enough and strong enough to keep sports shut down before the next campaigning is due to start, then the most practical approach is to call an end to the current campaign.
Be it this is the final standings, that all home/away games are presented as home forfeits, that we use average points tally, that we use last five games form, last ten games mini League standings, that we just randomly assume the Huns win their game in hand and beat us twice, doesnt matter, the outcome will be the same for the too position and they * know it.
And that the only thing they want to stop at any cost.

So much so, they are happy to accept a void season and no European spot for them and financial disaster and the inevitable liquidation of their new club if that happens.

Like chasing our European win and 9iar in the 90s, they are happy to do everything to stop it, even if it means killing their own clubs.
