Don't think anyone cares, the Livingston manager has a Kilmarnock tattoo and Donati played for Hamilton with a Celtic one.

He will probably move on after a couple of seasons. It will be a sticking point with some but I don’t think it will be much of a problem if he plays well. Wouldn’t matter to me if one of our lads had a Hibs or Hearts tattoo. Just not rangers.

He’ll be off in the summer for me and given how backward this country is, you can guarantee he’s made his life harder winning over a large volume of his new fans. Whoever they may be.

Scott Allan had/has a Hun tattoo..

Our captain is full of them :fear:

Calvin will deffo get grief because of it. It's a nice bit of ink but if he stays in Scotland he'll get abuse for it without doubt..

Because he is naturally a winger, just because Brendan Rodgers fancies you to play out of position doesn’t suddenly make it so.

Celtic are set to tell home-grown ace Calvin Miller to find a new club at the end of the season, Football Insider understands.

The left-back, 22, has failed to break into Neil Lennon’s side this campaign after returning last summer from a half-season loan at Ayr United.

A Celtic source has told Football Insider that Lennon has made up his mind that Miller can go as he prepares to overhaul the club’s left-back roster.

His contract, which was signed in August 2018, is due to expire at the end of June.

Football Insider broke the news last month that Celtic’s transfer priority this summer is to recruit a new senior left-back.

This comes after they signed Boli Bolingoli and Greg Taylor last summer following the £25million sale of Kieran Tierney to Arsenal.

The Hoops are set to listen to offers for Bolingoli following his dramatic fall from grace as well as offload Miller.

The younger man graduated from the Celtic youth ranks to make five first-team appearances when Brendan Rodgers was manager.

Four of those came at left-back in the 2017-18 campaign.

But Miller has subsequently fallen well down the pecking order and been loaned out to Dundee and Ayr.

Taylor has emerged as the first choice left-back or left wing-back in a team that has even preferred the versatile Jonny Hayes to Bolingoli.

The 2019 recruit from Kilmarnock has now made 13 SPL starts among 21 appearances for the Hoops and become the first choice on the left in Lennon’s favoured 3-5-2 formation.

Knowing the Miller family, all celtic fans through and through, Calvin will be gutted to leave. Imo Calvin was wasted by Rodgers in his ridiculous idea he was a full back. A player highly rated by plenty as an exciting wide midfielder / winger being converted into a full back was always, imo, a waste of a good young player. Rodgers seemed to want to do this type of thing stupidly playing players in a position where the player wasn't comfortable , did it with Hayes and also tried it with McGregor. I hope Calvin goes to a club were he's given the opportunity to play his natural position and makes a good career out it. The tattoo thing is nothing that a lot of players will have and don't see it being an issue as he's already been out on loan at clubs.

He's never been a defender at any stage in his career just another ludicrous move made by Rodgers. Wasted any chance he had of making it at Celtic. Why a player so highly rated by plenty wax played as a left back is utter nonsense

Why is that?? Plenty happy with the tats that James McLean has as well as his outspoken views but not Calvin. Comes from a big Celtic family, I knew both his Gran and Grandpa his Aunties and his mother and all Celts. Only doing what any other celtic fan does. Any club that doesn't sign him due to a tattoo are just bigits

Don’t really know how to reply to that without sounding like a * so I’ll just reiterate my previous post.

I am sorry about this - remember him looking like the next big thing for a while (as a left winger) in the youth team. Probably needed a quality loan earlier as a winger then to come back and compete, instead the snake * him and he ended up playing out of position in struggling teams. He's still got plenty of time to make a good career mind, needs to pick his next club carefully. Not a good time to be without a club though - hope we look after him.

It is always a shame to see someone you know is Celtic through and through like Calvin Miller is and who showed such promise as he was coming through the ranks moving on. But for his own career given he is 22 he needs first team football so it is time for him to move on. He is out of contract so no fee will be involved which should make it straight forward enough for Miller to find a new club.

Best of luck to him. He got to play for Celtic which is more than most of us can say so not all bad. He was one of those players you hear about as he was coming up just a pity he couldn't make the final step up. Not helped by randomly being played out of position.

Sure he will get a new club then it is up to him to show them what he can do. He'll definitely have a career of sorts. Will be interested to see what happens with him.
