Be typical if this gets called off when they're on their last legs and struggling to pick a decent 11..

Ah well. Playing them behind closed doors will feel mental..

Maybe they could just give the polis heat sensing guns instead of cameras and put the taxpayers money to use scanning for virus

I don't see it as nitpicking really, I'm a big Lenny fan and was confident of a good season when he took over. What disappointed me about those defeats was their nature - two main reasons why I was in favour of Lenny taking over was that he would be more tactically versatile than BR, and he'd improve us in Europe. While the EL group stage was phenomenal, the Copenhagen defeat was a disaster. The defeat to the huns wasn't great either. Of course, we were going to go out of Europe at some stage, and we're allowed to lose the occasional domestic game (even against that lot), but I was hoping for more. Anyway, I honestly think we'll strengthen in the summer and do better in Europe next season.

Getting back to the topic at hand, if we go 3-5-2 on Sunday with Eddy and Griff up top, I expect great things :34:

Don’t think it will be called off, played behind closed doors most likely. With remaining games being streamed live to fans and removing the 3PM Saturday restriction.

    That starts Monday I think..

Mental they either call it off or play it behind closed doors. How can they start the ban a day later..

Polis, ambulance services etc will barely be required at a behind closed doors game..

That should be the likely outcome but these thick * will probably let the game go ahead as normal with a full house..

1 Its nowt to do with her, its a UK ( COBRA / govt issue ( she actually says : she is minded to cancel mass gatherings of 500 or more that require policing and ambulance cover. )
2 IN any case, according to her, the ban starts on Monday
3 SO Sundays game is on by her statement

She should keep her trap shut as what ever will happen will be a UK / COBRA decision al she's doing is spreading confusion

Sorry yeah just seen its from Monday..

Ireland already going into lockdown, schools, colleges and childcare closing tomorrow. GAA games behind closed doors. Army going on yellow alert from Monday. Britain seem to be slower to react?

Needs to be cancelled now, not next week.

Grow some balls and stop being afraid of upsetting that bigoted mob.

Pretty sure health isn’t devolved so Scotland will follow what the UK government decides. Thereafter the SPL/SPFL will likely follow whatever the EPL does.

    Health is a devolved issue.

Ok she says "she is minded"...thats not a definitive statement, anything rUK does Scotland will have to follow as the virus has no boundaries, and why stop mass gatherings on Monday ? why not now ? Rationale for <500 being : The emergency services are going to be stretched.......... so let's have a Sevco v Celtic game just before the ban. There is some logic going on in there?

When all’s said and done football should be way down in our list of priorities when it comes to something like this. If it comes to postponing games etc then so be it. A sore one for us this season when we’re on such a high but anyone with any sense can accept whatever decision has to be taken.

To my way of thinking this thing is already on the way to being out of control and with the best will in the world no government is going to stop it. It’s a new strain of flu and it’s out there. I don’t think that you can ever fully eradicate viruses as they mutate. Difference is this one is deadly to certain sections of society.
