If they try to null and void the season we should take legal action if and where possible.

    1. It’s totally different because that’s one organisation and they can easily reschedule it by delaying next season.

    2. Teams winning titles, getting relegated/promoted, qualifying for Europe will be irrelevant if it keeps getting worse.

But aye, greet about legal action while * are dying all over the place.

Hearing there is more chance the game will be played behind closed doors than not now.

I don't think anyone paid much attention to those morons anyway.

The panic is elsewhere now, but will die down in a week or two, the same fear was here in Asia at end of Jan, there is no containment as outside mingling hardly stops the spread, most cases here are from close contact in office or home etc, almost no cases have come from large outdoor events. Its not some super virus that jumps just by being near someone, unless they are sneezing coughing on you or your in an enclosed space with them for a time and they are sneezing and such then chances of catching it are the same as cold and flu... Its a new disease so there is a lot of fear but its out now we will all get it sooner or later...

Absolutely no reason not to be able to play behind closed doors tbh. Voiding the season is a load of * but would welcome closed doors games with zero ticket revenue if only to * sevco :56:

It will destroy our reserves and share price too (their share price is already worth * all) so it isn't ideal and insurance companies will do their best not to pay out.

Pretty good response if you ask me as people will criticise having football behind closed doors.

Sensible solution for me is suspend the season for a month, and call of the Euros.

Yeah I suppose, will people be moaning we stock up. 4 home matches, how much is that in match day revenue £2m a game from tickets, food and match day sponsors? Plus money from 1 or 2 Cup games?

SCOTTISH football matches could be played behind closed doors or even cancelled as prime minister Boris Johnson prepares to announce that the UK has moved to a new phase of the coronavirus threat.

The UK government is set to announce after a meeting of the Cobra committee at noon that official strategy to combat the virus has moved from the 'contain' phase to the 'delay' phase, with the Scottish government also likely to issue an update.

The Times reports that the move could trigger a drastic set of actions from as early as next week, including playing ALL English matches behind closed doors for the foreseeable future with footage streamed live to ticket holders.

And SunSport understands that the SFA and SPFL have also war gamed every scenario and are primed to fall into line with any change in the official advice.

That could mean all major matches - whether it is crowds upwards of 500 or 1000 - being played behind closed doors for a restricted period of time.

Footage would be made available free to ticket holders via club's official platforms such as Celtic TV or Rangers TV.

There is also the doomsday option of matches being postponed or scrapped altogether should a number of players from any particular team go down with the virus, forcing others to self-isolate.

The first question in the wake of Johnson's call this lunchtime is when any such restrictions should come into force.

Some experts say that playing games behind closed doors only means that most fans will go to the pub to watch the matches and increase the risk of spreading the virus.surely most fans will stay at home.well the huns wont lol.HH
