Aye Stevie Murray. Did he go to Chelsea or somewhere down south for a while?

Don't think so, this guy was signed from Forest and was around the McStay time. Don't think his pro career got off the ground tbh.

I remember Barry John Corr, was a young goalie played a few times late 90s.

Met him few year back on a site, he was tiling the bathrooms.

    Does Thomas Rogne count?

I thought he was going to be the next Maldini.

Mark Burchill - blazed a trail for Tony Watt to follow. Got a vague memory of him coming on against Dundee Utd and scoring possibly 2 goals. Was certain he was the next Charlie Nicholas.
Raymond McStay - probably unfair expectations on him given his last name. Not sure if he ever got first team football anywhere
    Roco Quinn
David Elliot - similar to Aidan Nisbett in that everyone thought he was the next big thing but never made it and struggled for a career after leaving us

Actually thought he had a decent career with us and then after.

But yeh, maybe didn't quite hit the next big thing.

Had his moments but was so inconsistent it would drive you mad. An even more frustrating McGeady I guess. Also could have done with growing a bit bigger haha

Michael McGlinchey - always remembered hearing about how good he was in the youths.

    Islam Feruz - enough said.

Evander Sno - from what I remember, started off very well with us. Tall, powerful, just seemed to fade out.

McGeouch - I genuinely think if he hadnt broken his jaw vs Real Madrid in that friendly, that he would have broken into the first team.

From back in the late 80s early 90s here's a full team that never broke through. Mark McLean , John Traynor Traynor, Paul Mclaughlin, Stuart Balmer, Jim Slavin, Raymond Mcstay, Mark Donaghy, Mark Anthony, Brian Elliot, Gerry Britton and Dougald Mccarrison.

Jackson Irvine was Defo let go far too early. Ended up moving for good money to Hull City from Burton Albion

His injury when we played Lincoln, Sutton was the manager at Lincoln, finished him. He never mentally got back to the way he was before that. Shame because he was a good one.

I remember him mate. Clough let him go from Forrest as he was homesick only if he came back to Scotland. Clough said he was the real deal back then. Played for the reserves and that dirty * Jamie Dolan done his achilles tendon in a game at Fir Park, I was there. That boy would have been a real player in the Mcstay mould but ended up with a caliper because of Dolan. I went to a charity night for him in Bairds and a few other clubs done the same. A waste of talent and that why Dolan got the abuse from Celtic fans back then
