And considering Christie missed a vital one against them on the 29th that would've put us 1 up in a game we went on to lose..

Got the jitters even reading his name. Game would be dead on that side if he gets started.

I’m sure @Blochairnbhoy could tell you a nice spot to watch the game. He has a residency there.:85:

Not sure they still are at this point.

Last time he done anything of note against them they had Dorrans and Holt in midfield and McCrorie and Martin at CB.

They’ve come on a bit since then.

I agree Lenny won’t drop him. I love the man but wouldn’t start him personally.

The sick side of me would take a draw right now, they need to win badly.

going forward aye, but we need someone who can defend at LB and he’s the best we’ve got for that.

    This forum is nuts.
Rogic was done 2 games ago, some even analysing his lack of celebration when he scored against livi.
Fast forward a week and Christie runs about like a headless chicken and shouldn't start.

If we play 4-2-3-1 - I'll be furious. Lennon has done extremely well this season but the last 2 Rangers matches were tactical mistakes by him - simple as that. Let's not be stupid here - while I was obviously delighted to win the League Cup - the better team lost. If it hadn't been for a truly world class performance by FF and a lousy one by Morelos, they would have won easily.

Lennon didn't learn from that and he sent out the same formation on the 29th - Gerrard probably couldn't believe his luck. The truth was that they dominated the game and fully deserved to win. My concern is that when Lennon came out and said that we didn't deserve to lose that game - if he believes that, that's a worry.

We are the better team clearly and we have 8 days to prepare while they have 2 games in that period.

If we get our tactics right, I'm confident that we'll come away with a point at least.

However, if we play into their hands by letting them overrun us in midfield again, it will nullify the fact that we have better players.

I just hope Lennon is good enough to realize that he got it wrong last time and amend our tactics accordingly.

We should be full strength too, it's a big test for our mentality we need to show them who's Champions.

Can see Forrest and Hayes starting, unfortunately. Regardless of who plays wing back, we need to go 3-5-2 in a game where a convincing win would go a long way towards burying them.

You said 4 and yes penalties don't count to the same extent as a goal from open play - that's pretty obvious. Christie has assisted and scored far more goals over the season as everybody knows. People are saying he's not great against the huns because of the last 2 games when at least 7 or 8 players were poor - does that mean they're all * against them. He played fine in the 2-0 at Ibrox and there's no reason why he can't play well in this game as long as the team as a whole shows up.
