7 days rest and preparation time for us while they hopefully get booted up and down Dingwall then are left chasing shadows on Thursday v Leverkusen.

Turn up with the right attitude and we will right some of the wrongs on the 29th December.

Griffiths simply needs to start in a 352.

    Frimpong McGregor Brown Taylor
    Christie
    Griffiths Edouard

They'll up their game and I don't think this will be as easy as some people are suggesting. Would love to pump them but I think we'll win by a goal or 2.

I've got a feeling we'll play them off the park.

Agree, would be utter madness for me not to do it. No pressure on us, doesnt really matter what happens and a chance to try out a new tactic.

Especially as it will probably destroy them, they go long against us mostly and cause us problems but its usually because they can pass around 1 striker and pick out a ball.

We play 3-5-2 their centre-backs will be flapping and launching it in all directions as they won't have any space or even better they will try and pass it out front the back and make a * of theirselves.

A bonus as well is Griffiths on to take the set pieces.

If I've learned anything this season, it's not to be too confident going into these games.

And I say that fully aware of our form and their calamatous showings lately.

Would be ecstatic at a pumping but anything can happen. That being said, Griff to score pleeeeeeeeaassssseeeee and * scud the *!

Griff has to start with Edouard after today.

Bit unsure about a few positions though.

Christie or Rogic? Christie has been fantastic this season but has been quiet the last few times against them. Rogic always seems to do well against them but he doesn’t have the legs. We have been overrun against them the last couple of times in midfield so in two minds about this one.

Not sure about Taylor at wing back either. Boli hasn’t been involved in a while so can’t see him been involved. Hayes has the pace but his final ball is very poor a lot of the time but he is better at beating a man and getting up and down which Taylor struggles with due to his lack of pace. Could potentially try Forrest at LWB and put Frimpong in RWB but can’t see Lenny going for that.

Would like to see Elhamed start but don’t want to rush him back with his injury problems. Bitton has been great recently so wouldn’t drop him or Jullien. Ajer has been inconsistent but can’t see him getting dropped.

Have to go for the 3-5-2 Surely, Griff will be buzzing off that the day!, hopefully our cushion lets us play with more freedom and the fact we have a week to recover/prepare, whilst the zombies have a toughy in midweek. Need to put them back in their place after the last 2 performances against them !

Two up front with Griffiths starting, not Elyanoussi. We started Elyanoussi instead of Griffiths against Copenhagen and that did not go well. Also if Neil Lennon deems El Hamed fit enough to play 90 minutes then he should definitely start him.

Agree with all of this. Definitely has to be 352 but a few options on who fills the positions. Tbh whoever he puts in from today's squad should be good enough to win comfortably as long as we turn up which we will.

I’m half wondering if going 3-5-2 attacking would suit them at Castle Greyskull. You’ve seen in Europe that they have managed to peg teams off that are technically much better than them. They struggle against teams that play a kind of counter attack - similar to the way we played against them in September.

But then the other half of me is confident that we could blow them away with our 3-5-2 at the moment.

Their CBs are pish. Put Eddy and Griff against them and I think we'll win by a couple at least.
