How long do we give it though?

He has barely given us anything this season again. Was out for quite a long time the season before as well..

He was wanting away just before the snake turned up. I think he'll be wanting away this summer personally..

Even his celebration was telling last night. Looked like he didn't give a *..

If we're relying on Tam (who on his day is magnificent), I think we'll be waiting a long time..

We should go out and try and get a consistent box to box/10 type playmaker with more mobility..

I'd be surprised if we haven't identified that position for the summer already..

He's hardly going to. Go. Mental at 2-2, what I saw was a guy thinking let's get this kick off, Griff ran into the net to get the ball.

I he has injuries but his goal returns are better than any other central midfielder we have per minutes and considering he's played as many games for Celtic as El Hamed has in his career, who by all accounts is Paolo Maldini (good player but his injury record makes Rogic look like the * T1000 from Terminator) I think its a bit premature to suggest he's finished.

He may want a move but he's been here a long long time, hope he doesn't but can't complain what he's given us.

Time for a run in the team now.

I remember when he wouldve been one of the first names on the teamsheet.

now hes either injured or taking months to get back to an acceptable level of fitness, too many games hes towing a caravan or blowing out his hole after 60 mins.

If he had a decent engine and fitness he would be a world class player imo.

I’d give him next season, he has given us a lot even with his fitness issues over the Treble Treble. Rodgers * wrecked him last season, we endangered his career because Rodgers hit a purple patch when he was in the team. Think we owe it to him to try and nail the issues and get him fit and ready.

Loads wanted to leave under Ronny mate, Celtic wasn’t a nice place to be. He committed to a 5 year contract before going to the World Cup when he was fully aware one or two decent performances there could treble his wages, he’s shown us commitment, he’s put his health on he line for us and h ehas turned up trumps many times for us over the last five years. For me, we owe it to him to try and undo the damage we’ve done and we’ll get the rewards for that.

Thought that myself, he was also shot up the tunnel pretty much as soon as the whistle went whereas all the other players went up to the fans.

I get he's hardly going to run into the crowd after scoring to make it 2-2 vs livi, however I've never seen someone look so arsed about scoring a goal, one that could have turned out to be quite important despite it being a poor result.

Ideally we want to give him a run in the team but he can't offer us that..

There's been a few game's since January alone where he's had to sit out and everyone is wondering what's happened now and it's because he's got a knock or his knee has flared up..

It isn't good enough for what we need from a go to guy as our number 10. He isn't reliable and hasn't been for year's..

Mate I loved Tam and rated him as one of our best player's so don't want to sound like I'm just bashing him for nothing..

It wasn't just us. The Aussies * him as well..

Either side of our first half of last season he'd been at a world cup in Russia and was taken early from one of our biggest game's of the season to go to the middle East for the Asian cup. His manager had been moaning about his knee beforehand yet he still went, played but then as soon as he was back he had an op which * him again for us..

He's hardly given us anything since..

Amazing on his day and unrivalled but we can get a more consistent player who doesn't have his magic but better stats....most likely..

I'll give him a chance but I feel time is running out and he'll probably want away..

    Yep..

He just looked like he didn't give a *..

He's actually a player who jumps about and loves when other's bang in a crucial goal but nothing when he himself scores an injury time equaliser last night..

Didn't jog to collect the ball just turned round and nothing....whilst Griff grabbed it..

    Was telling in my opinion..

Could be to do with being brought on after saying he never wanted to play on the pitch?

Might have been * off that his involvement was required.

Don't think anyone suggested he should have been going mental and eating up what time we had left? But he just half arsed sauntered back to our half as if he'd scored a goal in training, which isn't usually like him. It's hardly a big deal just an observation.

I'm a huge fan of his and desperate for him to get more of a run in the team, especially now that Ntcham is out and Christie hasn't come back from the break and suspension quite as good as he has been earlier in the season. Would like to see him get a decent run of games now up to the semi as he loves it at hampden.

We could easily improve upon his domestic contributions with a replacement in the summer.
But, for a back up no.10 and with 10IAR approaching I'd like for him to be here in that limited role. Coming on during a night like last night suited him.

Thats assuming we have Ntcham and Christie on the 2nd of September ofcourse.

People are using it on this page as him not wanting to be here, having a bad attitude etc.

He didn’t go mental about drawing with Livingston, got back to the halfway line and tried to push on for a winner. Don’t know why anycunt would be unhappy with that, if it was to make it 3-2, I’m sure it would be a different reaction.

He's one of the first to line up for the kick off, ffs, are people sweating because Craig Gordon's leaving and not in team and we need someone new to beat with a stick.

    Ridiculous.

Completely agree; sometimes you just scratch your head at what people can conjure up.

    I follow Rogic fairly closely.

He seems a shy kinda guy. He'll sometimes go a bit mental when he scores a big goal, but more often than not, he is pretty low key; go watch his Youtube highlights.

As for wanting to leave the club, don't recall that ever being the case; always love to see some evidence.

As to this year, when we first saw him back, he was leaner than ever. He has from time to time had knee flare ups, but has been on the bench a lot. I hold the opinion that he wouldn't usually be on the bench if not fit to play.

He has rarely started, and I think that is more the managers choice than anything (Ntcham and Christie). With Lennon generally running out the same team game in game out, and only using subs late in a game, he has limited time on the pitch, and for a player well known for not being fit, and requiring a good run of games to reach a semblance of fitness, its not easy for Rogic. You can't reasonably expect him to come back firing after 1 or 2 games, that's just not him.

As for the synthetic surface, I thought it was widely accepted that steering Rogic clear of these was the right way to go. I note the quote earlier from Lennon on starting Rogic. I note too people already twisting these words. Love the internet.

I will never understand the love some people have for this. I dont say this out of provocation, i just simply dont get it. Not an horrible player but always injured, unfit, travelling back and forth to play meaningless games for Australia, when he does play it is never a full game, and in a good chunk of those he just strolls around and slow the game. This might sound harsh but I cant think of other player in the team we can totally afford to lose but still get money for.

Seen plenty of muted celebrations over the course of the season, yet this is the only one I’ve seen discussed.

i think he has rarely started because he hasnt been able to maintain any kind of fitness and tbh its only gotten worse as his time with us has went on..

It might be no fault of his own but thats the crux of what has held him back in the past two seasons. Iv said in the past, i dont think he has a future with us unless he retires from internationals and brings in a specialist fitness coach who can galvanise him.

The difficulty for Rogic is that i think the emergence of Christie and the productivity he brings will force Lennons hand. Its sad to see for a player who has given us many magic moments in his time here.

I suspect he is a tad hacked off at not getting more game time since he returned from injury.
Its the one thing that I don't really get with Lennon-his lack of rotation.
I see no reason why Tam cannot be utilized more, would not weaken us if he were to start, give Christie a break or allow Christie to give someone else a break.
Understand that he is not going to last the full game most times he starts but in fairness, if game is not done and dusted after 70 odd minuets, then its time for a change anyway.
