There was a moment second half the ball bounced and Dyes just muscled in on Ajer..

What did Ajer do? He jogged back and left Dykes free to spin and make a pass..

I defended Julian a lot on here but he shouldnt of dived in and should have shown him into the corner. Other than that, i thought he did okay. But a stupid mistake to make and punished for it

If you think Julliens been getting bullied all season and he’s a ‘victim’ you’re off your nut.

He’s been bullying in both boxes all season, he’s had some bad games and that’s it.

People need to calm down with the criticism of him bcause he’s been outstanding this season.

Whos said all season? Whenever he plays a physical striker he is visibly shaken. Hes been a good signing obviously but when you identify a problem - which is pretty * evident - why not attempt to solve it.

He wouldn't have dived in the way he did if it was any other player I don't think, Sutton said it in commentary but he is too emotional. He doesn't like being roughed up and it's as if he tries to prove he is solid as well but he is a bit lightweight and a big thin defender, not the sort who can bounce people off him or overpower people. Shouldn't be getting into physical battles or worrying about them but he does, just play his own game.

    Could have cost us.

Pretty poor showing again against Dykes but i do feel bad for him about the goal cause he looks like he slipped. he needs to get the right mentality for these kind of games.

WEll, if you think he’s a bully victim it would imply it’s more than just that.

He does need to sort some issues out but he is far from a bully victim like you’re trying to make out

Curtis Main was assaulting him. I thought Jullien was outstanding up there under that and the conditions..

Dykes has definitely got the better of him twice though and no excuses there..

Only positive is that he’ll make the Huns throw stupid money at Dykes.

For me outside of edoaurd he's our player of the year, very rare you can bring a continental European in who will fully invest in what the club is all about, he will learn from these occasions, top professional

Massively overated. Bullied off livi for the second game in a row. Yes to all you green tinted spectacled fans, he is our best defender but that certainly doesnt make him a great one. I expected much more for 7 mil. The * a danger in both boxes. If you disagree, pay more attention ffs

Thought ajer was a better defender wae boyata , so for me there is maybe a little bit lacking in trust from both , maybe positionaly not on point together and both similar in stature not over physical throw bitton into that as well , we dont have that aggression at the back ,the push yer granny oot the way to win the ball type ,tonight the big guy had a bad game , and it frustrated the * oot me wen he put it oot for a corner with 5 mins to go , thing is our players to a man are way better than theirs but credit to them , they play to their strengths and are an efficient team at home , got to admit I actually like holt as a manager ,looks like the type you wouldn't want to meet back in the dressing room after a * game .

Agreed - it wasn't just that he had a bad game - it's a recurrent problem he gas with physical strikers. Dykes is hardly a world beater but he's basically out muscled Jullien in 2 games. We were lucky tonight to get a point and that the Huns lost. Jullien needs to man up - you can bet that Aberdeen will be telling Cosgrove to get about him in the semi-final and he's a better player than Dykes.
