But we'd be dumb as * not to even try. Offer him everything for a 1-year extension. It's unlikely to fly; but not trying would be moronic.

 

Think some people may overestimate what 10IAR means to players, you only need to look at KT..

He may however, feel another year here is best for his overall development, he’s only 22..

I get that it's a job & most players arent emotionally attached to the club surely being part of one of the clubs greatest ever achievements, has to be appealing to any player.

Agree about the ten. Only thing i would take into consideration is his team mates and his unselfishness. Having quite a few French speaking team mates might influence his decision,, i am sure they would like the Ten and hopefully we give him a deal that allows him to go when the figure agreed is met.

Eddy needs to have a very good lawyer read that agreement. Two recent big names left complaining about the club not honouring agreements. ( Think they were gentlemens agreements)

Not having a go at KT, who had every right to make his choice and who absolutely is still a Celtic fan, but he's not Mr Celtic.

Mr Celtic would be someone like Paul McStay, Tommy Burns or Neil Lennon.
