Maybe Elyonoussi isn’t worth investing in.

We rush players too quickly back from injury and they immediately pick another up.

Forrest used to be out every couple of weeks with a calf or hamstring injury due to the type of quick action he uses until Deila took the decision to rest him for half a season. Never had an issue since.

No surprise to see us go back to 3-5-2.think it suits us domestically at the minute.

Happy enough with the team. I think Jozo had to drop out after Thursday, but I'm surprised to see Brown back in after he looked so off the pace. Also a little disappointed to see Elyounoussi drop out of the squad, but good to see Elhamed on the bench.

We've done very well at McDiarmind Park in recent times, so hopefully today is a comfortable afternoon.

He took his time to win a place in the side but when he did he was becoming a key player, then his injury issues started. Personally, I think he has a lot of quality and at his age I think he'd be a worthwhile investment.

As far as I’m aware he never really had much of a history of being injured before he joined us?

He’s a class player. Would love to keep him.

For me we just play too many games, more games you play more pain you are in, more you try and do things you don't usually do to compromise, more injuries you get. Same can also be said of more games you play the quicker players are rushed back from injuries, more likely they are to get injured again.

Pretty much nobody plays and train as much as us or gets as little time off as our players, takes its toll over the years.

Playing elyounoussi in the LC final effectively killed his season was a really stupid decision aggravating an injury that probably would've only kept him out for a few weeks.

    McMoist is a fan

Did you hear about the rankers helicopter pilot?

He was cool enough so he turned the fan off.

He’s definitely class, but injures are certainly frustrating.

Dunno man, surely if that is the case and it's due to the amount of games played then we could still do more with rehab etc ? Or are we always gonna have a ridiculous amount of injuries, every season and just accept it and carry on as normal.

Been happening for years now, probably always going to happen while we play 60 games a season and only have a 3-4 week summer break.

Summer break used to allow players to fully heal as they had like 6 weeks completely off without lifting a finger then another 6 weeks to work back to fitness slowly.

Nowadays our players are probably remaining 90%+ fit year round, never get the chance to fully heal and recover and are always over worked.
