If we signed McGinn then we probably wouldn’t have seen the emergence of Christie the way he did

 

Or they might've made up an immense midfield 3 that has legs for decades.

 

When McGinn signed for Villa, Christie was only a bit part player and hardly played, adding another midfielder then we would have seen even less of him I think. Agree though, with Broony at the age he is at now, would loved to see a midfield trio of McGregor, McGinn and Christie

 

Brown will be fine for the 10, if he is game managed. Silly to expect him to perform 3 times in 8 days.
Hopefully rested today, given he is carrying a knock.

 

Would be nice to see a midfield of Mcgregor, Eboue and Christie. Or McGregor, Soro and Christe - if only we knew what kind of player those two are meant to be -not a dig at you bud, but rather a dig at the club for signing two "brown replacements" and yet they arent to be seen.

I hope so too, especially in the games at home where we’ll be dominating possession for the majority of the game.

Obviously you want Broony playing in the away games and in Europe etc but any three of Calmac, Christie, Ntcham and Rogic would stroll it most games easily.

The fact he’s played in 47 of 50 games tells me it isn’t happening anytime soon though.

Lenny wanted Christie in a swap deal for Hibs, he said it earlier on this season.

 

I don’t want to praise BR really.... but didn’t he give Broony a week off around this time one season . If I remember correctly he came straight back in and was in good form to see the season out. I suppose there’ll be a short ‘intermission’ for the Israel game.

Let’s hope the whole squad don’t end up getting a government enforced rest though.

We really need to be getting even just a glimpse of Soro to see what he can do. If nothing else he'll give us more pace in there

 

I can’t help but feel he’s still carrying a niggle from the Copenhagen match.

Brown has been rotten recently, i hate the way he drops in between the cb’s, to me its far too deep and invites pressure and makes it harder for us to get up the pitch quickly.
