Yeah, been saying about our workload for seasons on end, and the expectations just keep getting higher, with repercussions more extreme when we don't achieve them... bad night for us all, some frayed nerves everywhere and everyone is touchy!

I'd be absolutely OVER THE MOON if we did another treble, because I genuinely didn't expect it. Didn't think we'd top our group when I saw the draw either... truth is we've only lost to CL teams in Europe, while carrying injuries, this season... otherwise we've been epic. We CAN'T win them all, no matter how much we want to, so I'm desperate for us to keep it up domestically.

Haha I think that now for at least 8 years and the only time that beating worked was when Rodgers came in. And even he didn't get the appropriate funding after the first season. As long as Lawwell is here I prefer not to to lose games because I learned that they are rarely a wake up call for the once who could improve this team. Desmomd oot, tight arsed billionaire. Have fun with taking those 2 billions into your grave, a hint, it wont work. Sorry bit of topic but had to be said.

How would it give them a longer summer break?

The SC final is early this year. 2 league fixtures to come after it. Get the league and cup won and they can all have aN early summer.

Rotating the squad a bit more would rest players... they’re highly paid professional athletes supposedly ... and have recently had 2 weeks in the sun. Too many were taking a rest last night.

Losing will not give the board a ‘Boot up the *’. Players will still be paid the same and the board will only be impacted if it resulted in reduced ST renewals.

It will only hurt the supporters.

9's not done yet, we need to maintain a level of professionalism that we didn't have last night.

Last night was a sore one but I think if you look back on the early season threads most said the League was the priority and Europe was a bonus. It's done now.

We're 3 games away from retaining the Scottish Cup for a 4th season in a row and 10-ish games away from a potential Quadruple Treble. Let's back the team to get there. It's easy to support the team when everything is rosy but this is when they need our backing.

The glaring deficiencies that we failed to resolve in January now can't be fixed until the summer, so greeting about them now is a pointless exercise.

    St. Johnstone 1 - 4 Celtic

(This game is on my birthday, a comprehensive Celtic victory would be the perfect present....along with 2 tickets :86:)

We WILL win the League and winning the League is beyond vital.
Away from that last night’s defeat has really hurt me. I feel sick inside.
I really really thought we would get our best run in Europe since 03.

Not soon enough, we need a game to get last night out of our system. Onwards and upwards.

Folk wanting the season to be over etc... can go * themselves. Spoilt brats.

I know it's a big game and people will question too many changes but we need it..

There's player's who should be dropped (Jozo and Ajer) and player's who looked like they weren't fit or picked up niggles (Broony and Eddy)..

I would've started Bayo in this regardless. Connell has been excellent in a position where we don't have much depth (assuming Soro won't be rushed)..

Bayo in with some of Taylor's ball's might be a good weapon..
