Thought everyone bar him and JF had passmark for 1st half, was total * throughout.

Absolute fruitloop trying that outside his box.

Think he's doing a lot of work of late, but sometimes he looks fkn hopeless with simple passes and those crazy * shots.

Such a frustrating player. Capable of brilliance but we don’t see it enough in my opinion.

If we got offered a decent fee I would take it no bother.

Absolutely sold the Jersey for their goal, had a simple pass to mcgregor and we were on the counter but tries to spin a boy on the edge of our own goal, after that for the time he was on the park he was a man down.

Shame cause he played well first half I thought. Would keep him in for the return leg cause he can be our difference maker at this level.

Started the match really well and went downhill after 20 mind. Awful in the 2nd half of course.

I think that looks too weak. Would be worried if we went with that. I'd play Soro at the weekend to see what he can do. Would be a risk playing him next week but might need his energy if Christie and Broony out.

I thought he was one of our better players in the first half but like the majority he was * in the second half . The only players to get pass marks for the second half were Forster and Julien , the rest were * useless .

May find it difficult to get back in starting 11, given Lennon’s reluctance to rotate

That's a blow with Christie out. Huge night for tam, he's owe us a big performance I think.

Southampton have set their sights on a summer deal for Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham, Football Insider understands.

The Premier League club are keen on the Frenchman, 24, amid doubts over the future of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

A Saints source has told Football Insider that Ntcham is firmly on their radar and there is hope he could be attracted by a move to an established Premier League club.

The former France Under-21 international has been a key man in Celtic’s domination of Scottish football since his £4.5million transfer from Man City in 2017.

But he is not a nailed-on starter in Neil Lennon’s side despite his high level of technical ability and impressive scoring and creating record.

The midfielder’s future has been up in the air for some time since he lost his regular starting role in 2018-19 – his second season at Parkhead – and went public with his frustration at Scottish football.

Football Insider broke the news that Celtic blocked Ntcham from quitting in the January window amid interest from leading European clubs.

He has two years remaining on his Hoops contract and the club may be willing to listen to offers this summer.

Ntcham has started 17 of Celtic’s SPL matches in the just-terminated campaign among 38 appearances in all competitions.

Since signing for the Glasgow giants, he has made 123 appearances that have yielded 23 goals and 11 assists.
