We’ve got a chance of a win, but I’m not overly confident, despite their previous form and apparent injury issues. Away in Europe has historically been difficult for us so I just hope we keep ourselves in it for the home leg.

My guess is we’ll revert back to 4231. Hope Taylor isn’t out for this as Hayes didn’t fill me with much confidence yesterday.

Is this a plastic pitch match?

Should be fairly comfortable for us with our recent form (yesterday excepted). It was a good draw for us and with their injuries coupled with their winter break i can't see anything other than a win for us. Fancy us to have at least 2 goals over there.

Only thing is our defence , or the lack of it. They will surely have identified that as our biggest weakness and their best chance of scoring will be from set pieces and high balls into our box.

Not watched them but teams from that part of the world usually pretty good in the air. Does Lenny try to get the tie won over there and coast the second leg or does he settle for a win without a big goal margin?

All set up for us to go & win, if there was a match to end the away day mindset from now on its this one.

They don't score a whole lot at home either & both Malmo + Dynamo Kyiv managed to score over there.

    Flying out Wednesday Morning :60:

Elyounoussi won't start, he hasn't featured in ages. And if Taylor is out, Hayes will start ahead of Boli too.

    Please no! :54:

Mind you I see these 2 ties as easier games than all 6 Group stage matches so it shouldn't matter if he plays.

    No no no.
Frimpong in a back 4 is an accident waiting to happen. Did you watch the last two Hun games.
Frimpong was our best player at Hampden, but at the expense of our midfield as Broony had to cover from him.
If we play Frimpong against decent teams we need 3 CBs

He got 25 mins v Hearts & 85 mins v Clyde in the cup and looked pretty sharp in both.

Ideally he would've got some more minutes but Lennon's playing a balancing act trying to get minutes for the likes of Christie, Rogic, Klimala, Bayo as well.

Frimpong will be fine in a back 4..

He wasn’t the issue v The Huns, they nullified our system with Forrest and MJ posted missing.

Boli should be as far away from the team as possible if we want any chance of progressing.

Hayes is incredibly basic but, astoundingly, actually has more defensive instinct than Boli who literally doesn’t know how to stay goal side of a man.

Think we’ll win by a couple and finish the tie on Thursday.

Flying out for this early on Wednesday from Tuzla to Malmoe, than a bus to Copenhagen . First away game for me, if you exclude Sarajevo game. Had a car crash two days ago, wearing a neck belt, but who cares, still going. Mon the Celts

Ok he wasn't the issue. Broony having to constantly go out wide to cover him was the issue. Although I don't realy see the difference.
If we play Frimpong against decent opposition, we either need 3 CBs or we need to lose a midfielder to cover him.

    ................Forster...............
    ........simo jullien ajer....
    Forrest brown ntcham McGregor boli
    ..........edoaurd grifffiths............

Forrest has shown a good ability to play covering rwb and get forward... I don't agree with a lot of people who said we improved when we went 4 at back yesterday but it did bring a different dimension and the ability to change is what has transformed the team since xmas.. edoaurd was again isolated like the game in December though.. fancy us to score with this formation and fancy us to win.... 1-3 and we get some breathing space for 2nd leg.. they are very defensive and an aging team. With a 352 we can control possession and the tempo.. ntcham has been world class since the break. Undropabble

"Copenhagen's 3-1 home win against Riga in August is the only one of their last ten European matches at Parken in which they have scored more than one goal, the other nine having yielded just five in total for the home side."

A wee positive for us, hopefully.

I still don't see him starting, much as I'd like it.
