I wouldn’t say I was confident, I just think we have a decent chance if we perform well. They’ll be tough opponents.

As for Edouard, if the right club comes in for him this summer, I think he’ll leave. If we get a bid of £25m or more, I think the club will negotiate. I’d love to see us get a lot more than that but we’ve only recently broken that £20m barrier with two players so I think other clubs will bid around that level.

If the mootings of an injury-ravaged squad are accurate and that stands true for our games, my confidence remains as is. I would say that they're more than capable at full strength mind you.

In regards to French Ed from France, I see one key difference that in my opinion should elevate the asking price and that's the purchase price.
KT we developed from a bairn, cost zero in transfer fees.
Dembolition we got for two Creme Eggs and a pack of Space Raiders.
French Ed cost us £9M, factor in whatever salary we've paid already in development fees if you will, and a 'possible' contract extension and salary hike, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect upwards of £30M. Lower than that and the overall profit since purchase wouldn't be that impressive.

    Just my 2p worth.

Very well deserved PotM for Odsonne!:77:

My friend is currently doing their dissertation on the impact of flags and sporting identity, with reference to Celtic.
I was hoping that some of you could possibly help out with the research. This is a link to a questionnaire that takes around 10 minutes to complete that would really help with the research.
If anyone could help out it would really be greatly appreciated, or share it with any Celtic supporting friends too!

    Many thanks all!:):shamrock:

See Charlie Nicholas thinks he's not bad now after a few months.

I was celebrating as he finally managed to get his feet sorted, what a miss :52:

As you say though some of his touches throughout the game were silky as *.

£1m off his value for that, he was that bad today he even missed one chance, twice, lol.

Still a lovely backheel for the lead up to goal.

    Still wanna be Edouard.

Surprised he could still walk near the end. Aberdeen booted several shades of * out the big handsome *. Absolutely no protection at all.

Brilliant back heel in the lead up the winner, created so much space with just that touch.

Let’s no talk about that miss :fear:

Made the difference with the bit of class in the lead up to the winner but had a shocker. Far too soft, sometimes he needs to just get stuck in and atleast attempt to get near a guy for a long ball even if he doesnt want to head it. Just dont give * a free header and time to pick out where they want to place it, force them into just wanting to win it.

Not his best day thank * that miss came after the 2nd goal, but still showed his class at times and touch for the goal was him at his best.

Mate McKenna put him out for month's at Celtic Park. He also got a kick to the calf early on from Considine and Taylor was going through or pulling him a lot..

He's no daft. He knew they'd go through him if he commited in to some of those 50/50's..

True you do want to see him bouncing off players a bit more though and going up for headers, any time a ball is punted near him you dont expect him to be within 10 yards of the defender going up to win it.

Eddy didn't miss a game from that Mckenna tackle. Just had to be subbed off from the impact.

Lash that and it's a goal, probably an occasion where he tries to control the finish too much.

His contribution in the lead up to the goal is exquisite though, not many centre forwards play like that. Class act.
