Honestly, at times he looks like he could play top level for another 5 years.

His professionalism and commitment to his fitness is exemplary.

 

11 more appearances for us and he'll move into 2nd place behind McNeill. Could be done before the split.

Thrives against these teams that try dirty tactics, when others in the team look uncomfortable.

 

He just seems to strolls through games, rarely gives the ball away.
The only rest I would like to see him given is when games are done and dusted, at say 3-0 up, get him and Eddy off.

 

Should be able to rest him those types of games, as much as they suit him to a tee.

Do think it’s concerning that our managers don’t like to leave him out or rest him. Hopefully Soro is the man to fill in and challenge for that role.

It's because nobody can do the same job. You never really feel safe looking at line ups without him in it. Ntcham and McGregor can't defend and don't really have the awareness to cover and drop into positions or even the knowledge of when to shut down or when not to.

Joe Ledley is he stayed would probably have been able to cover for Brown and let us rest him but we've never had another guy since who was safe enough to play there. Hopefully Soro will do the job hes only 21 I think though so not going to be near the level of Brown but he does seem to like to sit and play deeper which none of our other players do.

He must be hating it in this weather. * freezing but he still has to wear a T-shirt all the time to keep up the gimmick.

 

That's true but as we saw last season with McGregor back there.....we play at a quicker tempo and get it forward very quickly....resulting in us being too good attacking wise for most team's..

 

All about horses for courses. See no reason why he cannot be taken out for certain games, especially if next game is a tough one. We have 4 quality midfielders, so should be good. Would definitely start him all Europe games

I heard he sleeps with his window open with nae shorts and no cover absolute animal.

Then in the summer he just sleeps in his freezer
