    It’s disrespectful to most of the lower league & non league sides, players, families &supporters. pick your weaker team but don’t announce it & include yourself like he has.

    They weren’t too tired to fly to Dubai or Qatar wherever the * it was but can’t find the energy or will to play in their own shithole. Showing it’s money over history.

    Aye, the English approach and opinion of the Uefa/Europa cup took a massive up turn once they made the winner get a CL spot.

    All of a sudden teams coming 4-8th figured it was worth being in as they could sneak the CL

    It sends the message he wants to rest his main players to selfishly focus on winning what is the holy grail for Liverpool. He is also sending a message to his young guys that he trusts them in a big competition like the F.A. Cup and that should be an incentive to do well.

    I think it was three lower league teams who weakened their teams for that round over the weekend. I think Barnet was one but who were they disrespecting?

    I would dare say Barnets manager could make them calls and get away with it from the Barnet board. If Klopp wins the EPL I’m sure he’ll believe this was the right call given the time and amount of games they have played up to now. And he can swing that decision. They will come back with fire in their boots for the league. I just can’t help feel that it’s an English media driven campaign. The fact is the top teams generally see the F.A. Cup as secondary or even further down the list of priorities. It will still hold its prestige on the last game of the season.

    BTW I see International football as the main blame in this.

    could still do. Just because he’s asking his reserves to step in doesn’t mean they are already beaten. He is in a city where he will come across 2/3 of people begging him for the league title. They will care less even for the biggest trophy in world football. Champions League they have won and several times recently. They want the league, be it single trophy season,double, treble, or quad. The league is the must have.

    Could easy play a mix of reserves and players from the first team squad who haven’t been getting much game time. The money from champions league and the sky deal has * football down south, nobody cares about the cups !! Would I want Celtic to field a reserve team in the Scottish cup, not a chance. I want us to go out and win everything possible

    Isn’t there a winter break now for Prem clubs? Sure I read they are getting between 10 & 16 days off depending on the club. Only 4 prem games this weekend with the rest playing the following weekend. I seen a lot of Liverpool players are on holiday already
