Love the guy, class. Would love to see more of him, Rogic and Calmac in a midfield.

    Would love this guy signed.

I really enjoyed watching him today. Just oozed quality. Be interesting to see if Lennon will play him in the 352 because there is no doubt he has to play when fit.

Good to watch today as he played some fine football and I'd only expect him to get better as he gets more games.

Would be a game changer getting him in permanent. Although if he gets injured again I’d have 2nd thoughts shelling out.

Southampton have hit a bit of form recently and I can’t see Elyounoussi being part of their managers plans next season (well I’m hoping that’s the case).

I think we could potentially get him for £8-10m. Would be well worth the money, he’s a CL player.

I would sign him for 8-10 million. Pure class

Lets face it, 8-10M is the quality we have to be aiming at for starting 11 places.

Cant see any reason why not against dross sides, a dam sight better than the other 3 options at left side.

Think we need to see a bit more of him before paying the money, but hopefully the Edouard outlay has proven to the board that it’s worthwhile spending big on quality.

Only way to find out if he can play there is to try it. It’s a catch 22 with the left wing back position. We play an attack minded player and lose out defensively or vice versa.

But Forrest is an attack minded player, that offers little defensively, apart from tracking back??

I agree, he either plays wide in a 451 or as the 2nd striker in a 352.

Forrest’s defensive positioning is a * of a lot better than a lot of people realise

Can't see us signing him and Forster unless Southampton really want them off the wage bill and do a cut price deal for both.

If it was one or the other I'd go for big Forster everyday tbh.
