    Would back him while here - unless he proved not to be of our level.
    But it is massively underwhelming and we should be aiming a LOT higher.

    Shipped out Sinclair, who had proved in the EPL he did have something to offer and came here and offered it in abundance. Not seeing it from this guy or the need for him on loan.
    Ely is unlikely to stay perm, Morgan aint going to cut it, and Sinclair is gone. Leaves an injured MJ, we need a proper, permanent Left Winger of the calibre of Sinclair when he first came here. Atsu isn't that for me - but happy for him to prove me wrong.

    Well I say happy to, but I aint happy with this being yet again our efforts in the transfer market, but if he is in the door, then I'll be happy to see him prove me wrong. Won#t be happy with the initial signing though

    Newcastle was wanting all his wage payed. Ah well if we were willing to pay say half of his wages which will likely be about 25-30k that’s a guess btw. We may aswell put them towards big Vic.

    In this game at this stage you take what you can get. Guy can play, he's quick and unpredictable. Premiership experience.
    Looks like someone who can play counter attacking football. Wouldn't be my first choice but Newcastle is just down the road. If it happens it's a real coup for us.
    Remember as well we've European football and Premiership players normally show up well in these competitions.

    Scott Sinclair played for clubs like Chelsea and Man City, and had 28 goals in 82 games for Swansea. Scored 8 in a season in the Premier League. There is no comparison between him and Atsu, Sinclair was (and is) a far superior player. Seen Atsu enough times to know he’s just a pace merchant and a very frustrating player, hope newcastle keep him.
