Going by the celtic claim of us not making an approach, or having any interst, it sounds to me like either Spurs made an approach to us to see if we'd take him, or an agent did. Either way we said no.

Or we are not saying anything as we usually do.

Seems to be a few contradictory comments going about.

Could be a tactic used by spurs to encourage other teams to move for him. May force another teams hand.
If, as sky sports claimed, spurs were willing to pay a chunk of his wages as part of a loan deal, id imagine another premier league team or european club could come in for him.

If Hoijberg leaves southampton for spurs, he could go in the opposite direction.

Could be. I've never thought there was much hope of us resigning him, and after just signing a DM I see there being virtually no chance, so I suspect any moves are being made by Spurs to ship him out.

We weren't bullied, as such, by the huns. They pressed us and we couldn't play through or around that press. What we lacked that day was a bit of composure and dynamism in midfield, someone to put their foot on the ball and someone to move the huns midfield around to open up space, not sure wanyama is the answer to that particular problem. we also lacked a decent outball because the wingers had a stinker.

I'd be looking for a bit more creativity as opposed to a ball winner. A creative mid or a another winger.

I definately wouldn't be saying no but we also don't really need him, for the money we'd be spending on his wages I'd rather was put towards benkovic or a winger.

Slimmer of hope this will happen. It’s been floating about from “ITK” folk all month. Seems unrealistic but have a feeling this might happen.

Maybe our PR team are denying it to make it even sweeter tonight? Or if they said “aye we are in talks” and then If we didn’t manage to get it over the line their would be a meltdown.

But IMO we won’t even bother trying to do this one tonight. But never say never.
