    You've three options;

    1. Stick with what you have and what you do - but make sure any files you download etc all get checked with a virus scanner etc. Be a bit more careful in that sense. As far as computer performance goes, what you have now is what it's gonna be like in a years time - don't expect patches or updates to fix any issues you think MS have in Windows7.

    2. Buy a new PC which will come with Windows 10 preinstalled. it's a big outlay, but that's down to your own circumstances and what you can afford.

    Install Linux. Mint is similar to windows
