We need a striker that can also score in a packed box. You think he has that in his locker? The video I seen his goals have been either running through on goal or he's had plenty of space & time.

Not slagging him off as his record speaks for its self

I'm of the same opinion on Bayo. Needs time but the problem is we need somebody that can walk in & take some of the pressure off Eddie.

I hope he does have that in his locker.
Maybe if he is played up top with Eddy in from the left the space required will be made. Can he do it under pressure in the hoops of Celtic? That’s a big question too.

Plus we don't play a system that suits him..

If we had a Thommo for example whipping them in....he'd score bundles..

    Sporar?

He looks like a natural finisher from all over. Clinical and creates chances for his self and sniffs them out..

The bayo comparisons arent as easy to make as folk make out.

He played 16 games in Slovakia scoring 10...for all we know could have been a flash in the pan.

This guy is older, more experienced and his record is unbelievably prolific and hes been consistent across 2 leagues. Albeit low level eastern European but we cant exactly look down on anyone.

Not to mention his record from starts internationally and his European record this season. Hes had his big move before to Basel so will be even more determined to make it work this time.

    Definite yes from me.

There's a few on the first couple of page's..

He has quite a lot in his locker..

Good inside and outside the box. Strong. Very good link up player. Decent pace. Finishes with both feet and in the air..

I think it is hard as him & Bayo are different players but that is not how people are comparing them. It is more to do with the quality of league they are playing.

Guessing this is another recommendation from Lubo?

I was referring to the quality of league as well though. It all fits in together when people are making comparisons.

This guy has shown he is too good for that league by a fair bit and is more experienced. Bayo was and still is very raw and could easily have had a flash in the pan spell with his club in Slovakia.

This guy would definitely come here more complete as a player.

Notice a slovakian journalist compared his style to Lewandowski today. Definitely the impression I got from the videos.

Really hope we're close to finishing this, but honestly i hope we're after another Striker too. I'd like to see us go two up top during the second half of the season and neither Bayo/Griffiths are fit enough, both could maybe do with loans

Cheers mate. The video I watched he looked so right footed it was unbelievable but they videos show he is very comfortable with both. He looks a very clever player with dropping in to space & link up play. I agree with Shelby that you could see Bayo was very raw but this guy looks composed.

I think we'll get him if I'm honest pretty soon..

Just a hunch. Lot of talk of course and really seem to be going in very early doors to complete it..

I also think we will sign a young striker. The City kid Touaizi or something like that maybe Campbell at Stoke even..

Plus Afolabi is highly rated by Lenny in our reserves and us already physically capable of stepping up..

Aye there's no comparison with him and Bayo other than the both played in the same league..

Bayo you could see was raw as *. There was a video of Bayo in Egypt or that and it was comically bad how raw and work he needed doing..

This guy is much more comfortable and ready to make the jump. I say jump but domestically it can't be too different to the SPL where he'll smash it and he's already proving that he can do it for his country and the Europa right now..

Getting him at a good time..

Him and Elyounoussi both at 25 are great ages if they can be done..

If we manage to sign this guy, I’d like to see him play upfront WITH Eddy in some games.

Sporar through the middle with Eddy having a bit of a free role to drop deep and drift wide. It’s basically what Eddy does at the minute but we would always have another striker in the box looking to finish off crosses, rebounds etc.

It’s been highlighted that one of Sporar’s strengths is his link up play as well so would be interesting to see if it would work.

I understand that there is very few teams who play with 2 strikers these days but with the quality we have compared to other teams in the league, we should be able to play 2 upfront.

    @trackebhoy that's Bayo from 3 year's ago sometime..

If you look at Sporar in any of his vids even from the same time as that or whenever....he's looked much better and technically rounded than Bayo...who still can look like the above video at time's..
