    Never heard of them.

I remember 51 States and Smarty Pants jeans. :giggle1:

When I was a teenager I also remember paying a silly amount of money for Chipie jeans and jumpers.

The jeans looked stupid with big letters stitched on to the back pockets.

Used to only buy Armani comfort fits for over a oner and then would always get them taken in at the bottom..

    About 140 all in roughly..

Now I just buy them out of Zara for 25-40 quid and they fit perfect and sit above the laces..

Mental when you think about it. Spend that much on jeans and then still take them in..

Don't like baggy jeans. Slim fit and have to sit above the laces. If they go over the laces then it's a no no for me..

Got my first Chippie Jeans and white sweat shirt in Glasgow, I remember the jumper logo was F1 chequered flag and gold writing. Near dropped dead with price as I was only 16. Can’t recall price of jeans but jumper came in at around £100.

Still buy these till this day. The denim is so soft that they're almost like wearing joggies or something and they just fit so well. They sell others I love also. Honestly can't see past this brand for jeans and would pick them over brands like True Religion and Replay here.

I'm remember as a young lad in the mid 90s paying £125 for a jumper from Chipie. The jeans were about the same.

The quality was awful too. I had to keep wearing the jumper after it shrunk.

Maybe it was the alcohol that made me bigger..:giggle1::giggle1:
