Thought I would bring this into his thread.

Where are you getting this 7 from 7 when playing on the right?

If Lennon is intent on playing both Nicham & Christie, surely he should leave Forrest on the right and play Christie on the left??

think he likes christie drifting in and being able to have a dig . Think lennon has to realise that you play one of either christie or ntcham my choice would be christie, no point moving people to accommodate payers , pick best player in there positions , we have been a little flat last few games because of it

If he has to play Ntcham and Christie then I’d agree with you there. Keep Forrest in his best position, instead of moving around two players.

But Lennon just has to accept that if Ntcham has to play, then one of McGregor, Brown or Christie need to be dropped/rested.

Think the issue right now is lack of left wing options.

I think it’s easy to see why Christie plays on the right. He comes in and plays infield and allows Frimpong massive spaces to attack into. Criticism of Forrest on the left is wide of the mark. He’s still involved with creating chances and assisted a few recently. I’d question whether Frimpong and Forrest would work on the right.

He's not been playing Christie wide right to get Ntcham in the team, we've just been a bit unlucky that both our left wingers have been out injured and that's the next best thing.

The other option would be either sinclair or Morgan but I'd rather go with Christie there to be honest.

For those who are in love.....
It's cause of what Christie can unlock and do when he drifts inside and allows Frimpong to overlap..

But he's definitely better suited to the middle. Actually the best game I can remember seeing him play against us was actually at left wing for Inverness when he scored 2 at Celtic Park.....so he can definitely do that and help ball's in. Surprised slightly we haven't tried it..

Forrest is right footed so you'd think modern day he could play left like Sinclair did. Like Mikey and Mo do who are all right footers....but although he's a modern wide man....positionally he's very much an old school right winger..

Now Mikey is back we won't see it as much and when Mo is back..

We might look to sign a flexible wide man/10..

Christie needs to move back in behind Eduard with ntcham benched with Forrest wide right and Johnson wide left.

Ntcham doesn't need benched specifically, but if he is playing one of the other 3 central midfielders needs to drop out, not try and squeeze all 4 on at the same time. They can easily be rotated to give players a rest.

Ntcham is a cracking player but out of him and Christie it needs to be Christie. I'd play ntcham when McGregor or Brown need a rest but its defo brown McGregor and Christie for me.

The problem is that Ntcham, as talented as he is, is not a natural replacement for Brown, McGregor, or Christie. When one of them drops out, we lose something.

Last season some of the best football we played was during the period Brown was injured and it was McGregor, Christie and Ntcham. He doesn't need to be a direct replacement, the style can be tweaked slightly, which is a lot less disruptive than the wholesale positional changes playing all 4 requires currently.

I believe that it was Christie, McGregor, and Rogić, mate.

Ntcham needs dynamic, high-energy players around him, who can break through lines, and press the opposition.

A midfield of Ntcham, McGregor, and Christie might work, although it might leave our defence exposed.

Any combination that includes him alongside Bitton, Brown, or Rogić leaves us looking lethargic, or uninventive, in my opinion.

Actually we were both wrong, it was mainly Mcgregor, Ntcham and Rogic.

No, it was before Christie really broke into the team.
